Remember Trixie (Lucianne Goldberg) did the same thing a few years ago and look at her forum. She kicked everybody off who didn't agree with her or her moderator.
Pretty stupid move by Hannity but it is all about publicity and he is getting it. He will probably do pretty well with his listeners but he won't even come close to FR.

Actually, when this loyal listener since he started his national talk radio program heard his insulting reference to us proud FReepers, I was really hurt and wondered why I have invested so much of my time listening to him when he apparently has so little regard to the listeners who helped make him successful and that includes his TV show on FNS.
Rush Limbaugh would never insult FReepers although he did put on his website a while back a picture of what he thought FReepers looked like.

I suspect Hannity’s ratings are down and didn’t think through what he is doing to some of his audience.
As I have said before, Hannity is the Tommy Smothers of political talk-radio.
As soon as your show starts with your own talkng points instead of using Rush Limbaugh's, you dont have a talk show, all you have is yourself as a parrot.

He must be positioning himself for a political run in New Yawk...what is it with New Yawkers that makes them all so annoying.
Sean only likes to talk about himself and what he wants you to think. We just don’t talk about him enough here, therefore on sean’s scale, we spend a radical amount of time talking about radical stuff in other words, and anything that's not about Sean is radical.
Good riddance Hanraty, you're not losing me as a listener because you never got me in the first place with your phony-baloney. But I have gotten literally dozens of friends to turn you off, and will do so with even greater vigor in the days and weeks to come.

Come see my website because FR is too fringy. I'm not going to bash Hannity but it is kind of trashy. Anyways if I do recall Hannity use to talk about FR all the time up until recently. So the whole "I haven't been to FR in 2 years" is a bunch of BS.

The local AM just picked up Hannity's show.
I am never impressed with him on FOX, but listening to him, filled 3-4 PM when in the car and beat NPR beginning at 4 - so I thought I'd be listening. I further had intended to drop an email to 1450 AM here in upstate SC to thank them for carrying his show.
I won't be doing that now and I doubt I'll be listening. I may let the radio station know about that decision.
Hannity's little tantrum today was profoundly disappointng and hypocritical. Obviously too it was calculated and planned. "I don't go to Free Republic (a conservative site) because they eat their own and are fringe." ??? Isn't that a case of attacking other conservatives (eating one's own as it were). Is he really that desparate to get people to his site and did he think attacking FR would accomplish that?
2. He's also jealous because Brit Hume won FR's NOMINATION.
