The Bible is full of passages talking about how sex between same sex people is sinful, i.e. homosexual sex is sinful.
The Bible also specifically says that a man and a woman form a union.
I don't know the passages, I am sure others do.
I think someone should find those passages and send them to this guy, preferably hundreds of people at the same time, and have them all claim the $5,000.

Alvin Holmes is a joke and an embarrassment to the state of Alabama. I guess the book of Genesis where God made woman for man and from his side and made male and female so they could procreate is not enough for some. I notice the "D" after Rep. Holmes name does that signify Devil or Demon as in the he is a liar and the Truth is not in him? To deny the plain Truth of the Word of God is willful foolishness. I pity the people that voted this one in.

I think this lawmaker is splitting hairs about the definition of the word marriage, not whether the Bible condones homosexuality.
