I will be sure to get word to you that I'm fine once the surgery is over, though it likely won't be until Friday.

(I'm very psyched about the awake part.)You are much braver than I would be. Prayers will be said for a successful surgery and full recovery. God bless you.

Oh my goodness! I'm not sure, but I'm thinking this is good news/bad news.
Whatever, you are still in my daily prayers, and I know the Good Lord is watching over you.
Congratulations on the new baby. I will now be praying for a safe delivery for your wife also.
Please do keep us updated.

You have a lot of friendly associates in North Carolina. Let us know where and when you'll be in what hospital in Durham, and we will bring balloons and smuggle pizza.

Joe, prayers for the best possible outcome for you.

I wish you well.
What I'd like to know (kinda selfish) is how you feel with what you have gone through (Life gets kinda bored when all is okay and one tends to disconnect a bit from feelings and emotions about living).
