A weasel to the last.
The accounts were only conflicting because he and his minions had been spending enormous amounts of effort to muddy the waters, threatening anyone who told the truth, refusing to allow transcripts to be released, etc.
He made outrageous charges without any evidence whatsoever. He is a fool. End of discussion on that point.
regarding the alarming number of journalists killed in Iraq
there have not been an exceptional number of journalists killed in this conflict compared to any other where Journalists have been allowed to roam freely, totally controlling their own travel. It's a war zone. What part of that doesn't he understand?
What has been alarming is how many "journalists" just happened to show up at exactly the right time to record terrorist attacks on coalition forces. Perhaps we should have a tiny little bit of coverage of CNN and AFP cooperating with terrorists to set up attacks on coalition forces, hmmmmmmm?

And unless the press screams for the tape to be released, they, too, are duplicitous.
I agree. Toatally un-called for. But I loved it.
Now searching for our next target.
"We always released 'bad news' on a Friday night--that is the doldrums of the news cycle. Hillary herself came up with this idea...."
LOL!
If true, good riddance to one less piece of anti-American trash...
You presume, sir, that he is currently a part of the human race.
What do you think...is this real?
Nothing on CNN's website.
please post the link to the marketwatch article
Wow! Thanks for the ping, Howlin. Well, what was it that made him quit? Maybe the certain knowledge of a damning videotape, or was he inspired by NCPAC's example of taking one for the team? New Media rules!!!
I turned the spitter on, what about Obergirl, that one I won't watch.
No. I think this was Rumsfeld's fault. God love him.
I guess he couldn't pass the buck to some junior CNN producers.
I like it very, very much. Thx ;)
One has to wonder exactly how he looked and sounded on that video tape for him to resign so fast
Another one bites the dust!
It's real. I think the Dow JOnes Newswire is proprietary so it's not available on the free web, but our fellow Freepers have provided the news from that source. See the updated start of this thread.
