A new, highly resistant strain of HIV that appears to develop rapidly into AIDS has been diagnosed in a New Yorker who had not previously undergone antiviral drug treatment, says the city health department, which is holding a press conference today.
While drug resistance is increasingly common in people who have been treated for the human immunodeficiency virus, city officials called the case “extremely rare.” The patient, who now has AIDS, is a male in his mid-40s who reported multiple male sex partners and unprotected anal intercourse, often while using crystal methamphetamine. The patient appears to have developed AIDS within two to three months of HIV infection, and at the most 20 months. People who contract AIDS usually get it more than 10 years after initial infection with HIV.

Exactly. A disease that seems to target gays and drug users is a dream come true for the liberal victimologist.
However, permissive attitude towards any sexual proclivity. If it leads to AIDS, pregnancy or other STD. No matter. It's all the conservaties fault, let them pay for it. What's a little drug use. It's those environmental factors don't you know. Do you know what kind of home he was raised. It's his conservative father's fault. If only he'd been more understanding.
The homosexual community knows full well what action to take to stop this from spreading and they thumb their noses at us and take little if any preventive measures. It's almost as if they think this is now a curable disease. As a result now we drug resistant HIV which will kill not only those who are drug users or homosexuals, but anyone else whose is unfortunate enough to be infected by these people.
There actions can almost be considered murderous. The rage these people poses is unblievable. To call them gay is such a joke. Yet the liberals will defend their right to create even more killer viruses while they scream if I take off my F@#$%^g motorcycle helmet or drive my Ford Explorer.

I think you are on to something there. A couple of years ago I ran across the term "barebacking" in connection with homosexual sex. I had never heard this before but it appeared from the context in which it appeared that it is a term for unprotected anal sex among homosexual men. I did a search on the term and came up with a site that explained that not only it is indeed a term for unprotected sex but that there is a deliberate effort on the part of some homosexual men to become infected with HIV. As you state it is apparently considered by some homosexual men to be a sort of "badge of honor" to be HIV positive. It is also considered proof of their "love" for one another to engage in unprotected anal sex. "Barebacking" is apparently more common among younger homosexual men (according to what I read in my search).
Parasites usually do not kill their hosts because then they die too. However, the parasite can easily jump from host to host it has no need in protecting the life of the host. Now we are trying to kill it while it resides in the host. To survive it will find a way to jump.

You forgot that liberals also agree with not letting 13 year olds get their ears pierced without their parents permission, however, if they want to get an abortion we can't tell the parents.
Science has never cured a virus. We can only suppress the symptoms. In the end the virus always finds a way to survive.
Not to insuate that AIDS was not deadly before. It is just that their actions, or lack thereof, make a terrible situation even worse. And they demand the right to do this. We are closed minded and bigots if we object.

All I can say is thank God I'm married and that my husband and I are both HIV negative and we only have sex with eac other! With all this talk of HIV and other sexually transmittied diseases I don't see why anyone would engage in SEX period with someone that isn't there spouse. Frankly, I think God mad sex for only the married and there is a good reason why!
How would they ever know when he transmitted the virus? Unless he has only begun the behavior in that small window?
Good point, but I think that it won't low the infection rate as people who live the type of lives this gay man likely lives are having sex with multiple partners every day!
