Transgender Golfers OK’ed for the Women’s British Open (4:07)

The Ladies Golf Union, the organization that oversees the British Open, has approved rules changes that will allow transgenders to compete in womens golf competitions. Other golf bodies around the European Union and the International Olympic Committee have already made similar changes. The British move comes 11 months after Danish-born Mianne Bagger became the first male-born golfer to play in a professional womens tournament. But as Bob Knight, director of CWAs Culture & Family Institute, points out, similar changes could be headed to the United States if citizens dont speak out.

I don't care how many golf tournaments I could win, I'm not cutting off the Little Rocket in order to play on the woman's tour.

I wonder how they defined 'transgender'. Does that mean a guy that's in the early stages of the...."transformation", i.e. he still has the equipment and might just be starting the hormone therapy? Or is it the post-op morphodites? Can it include drag queens, i.e. guys that like to believe they're women?
So many questions, too few answers....

But you would get to play from the red tees!

It was a sunny Saturday morning on the course and I was beginning my pre-shot routine, visualizing my upcoming shot, when a voice came over the clubhouse loudspeaker. "Would the gentleman on the woman's tee back up to the men's tee please!!"
I was still deep in my routine, seemingly impervious to the interruption. Again the announcement, "Would the MAN on the WOMEN'S tee kindly back up to the men's tee."
I simply ignored the guy and kept concentrating, when once more, the man yelled: "Would the man on the woman's tee back up to the men's tee, PLEASE!"
I finally stopped, turned, looked through the clubhouse window directly at the person with the mike and shouted back, "Would the person in the clubhouse kindly shut up and let me play my second shot?"

Pretty convincing, except for the Adam's apple. You can pump estrogen all day into a male body; it can grow some form of breast tissue; you can lop off the testicles can slice the penis and sew it into a circle and call it a vagina; but end result will NEVER be a female. Moreover, this mutilated person will still have the upper body strength of a male. This on any level will present a real disadvantage for any female playing any game against a mutilated male like the one pictured.

OK... the rule we play by is this:

If your drive doesn't make it past the women's tee, you have to play your second shot with your pants around your ankles.

Yikes! Look at those arms, there's absolutely nothing feminine about them.

And so the slow death spiral of womens' sports begins.
