Good morning Everyone. Good morning to our

Military, our Allies and their families.

Thank you Spotsy for opening the doors to the Canteen and for serving up those pancakes. You really set a beautiful table.

The weather has been so nice the last couple of days, I figured I might as well slip on something a little cooler. As you can see I've even decided to lounge on the beach for a while. Won't be able to stay long, though, cooler weather is on the way!

I guess it's time for me to make my rounds at the Canteen. I am happy to see that we have some newcomers and repeat visitors. Yipeeee. We're glad to have you. One word of caution to our newcomers....if you are approached by a suspicious character trying to sell you a burka,

PLEASE just say NO!

Now remember, the Canteen is always

So, come on in and sit for a while. There's alway plenty of coffee, pancakes, conversation, silliness, and plain old BS.

JUST A JOKE

Officer: "Soldier, do you have change for a dollar?" Soldier: "Sure, buddy." Officer: "That's no way to address an officer! Now let's try it again!" Officer: "Soldier. Do you have change for a dollar?" Soldier: "No, SIR!"

*********************

Having just moved into his new office, a pompous, new colonel was sitting at his desk when an airman knocked on the door. Conscious of his new position, the colonel quickly picked up the phone, told the airman to enter, then said into the phone, "Yes, General, I'll be seeing him this afternoon and I'll pass along your message. In the meantime, thank you for your good wishes, sir." Feeling as though he had sufficiently impressed the young enlisted man, he asked, "What do you want?" "Nothing important, sir," the airman replied, "I'm just here to hook up your telephone."

Good evening!

Thank you for this thread. I have enjoyed seeing the posts day after day. They are a encouragement to me.

Can anyone tell me where the photo is of the clouds, that after being turned sideways, looks like the profile of Christ?
I have only done a cursory search but am still in the process.

Does anyone know? ;-)))))))

Thank you, ahead of time!
