Deep Throat Close to Death It appears the Watergate source known as "Deep Throat" may be close to death, and that means that individuals name may be made public for the first time.
Reporter Bob Woodward has said in the past that he would disclose the identity of the course when that person died. Deep Throat helped Woodward and the Washington POst expose the Nixon Water gate scandal.
The Washington Post has already prepared an obituary, which means the world may soon know the secret Woodward has managed to keep for 30-years.
If you haven't read it already, read Silent Coup by Len Colodny. G. Gordon Liddy has said it's about as close to the truth of Watergate as you're going to get.
I Don't Know's on third.
I don't know - third base!
I don't give a damn - which one was that?
don't know the fellows' names?
Short stop!
"My dog has no nose."
"How does he smell?"
"Terrible!"
Jack.
I don't know your original question. When you ask a question it is incumbent on you to quote whatever you're questioning. Otherwise, it can end up in Abbot and Costello jokes.
I thought Linda Lovelace died in 2002.
What does incumbent mean?Ok I will google.I looked it up and I will go back.
You forgot your own question? "Hey, Abbot!"
Deep Throat = Barney Franks
"But poor Deep Throat will be dead, and we'll have only Bob Woodward's word to believe. Woodward is well known for his docu-fictions, in which he's claimed things based "on at least two or more witnesses", when these witnesses had to have been imaginary in a great many cases"."Costello: You gonna be the coach too"?
And you don't know the fellows' names?I am just a nice person with a question that you ran around writer.
Does/did Pres. Ford smoke?

He smoked a pipe while in Congress and as President, but don't know if he ever quit post-presidency. If you count pipe smoking as "smooking." Mostly pipe smokers can't keep the thing lit for more than five seconds at a time.
Is and Was. Rehnquist *was* in the Executive Branch as Ast. Aty. General, but now *is* in the Judicial Branch as Supreme Court Justice.
Jim McGreevey is near death?
It was *@(%#!>&$=^]?/-*_...-!, obviously.
Gee, that's funny...my keyboard seems to have malfunctioned right at the critical juncture. ;-)
Oddly enough, both the far Right and far Left hated President Nixon...both sides had motives to get rid of him, and after the fallout and government escapades of post-JFK-1963, non-violent action was selected this time.
The far Left hated Nixon for exposing Alger Hiss, his enemies' list, and representing Rockefeller wealth/power; the far Right hated him for Affirmative Action, the EPA, Wage and Price Controls, getting us out of Vietnam, ending the Draft, Opening up China, etc.
So the Commies and the anti-Commies, from peacenik socialists to John Birchers, all had an axe to grind against President Nixon.
That's why that 18 minutes of erased White House tape recording was important...because it may have been that *nothing* of importance was on those 18 minutes...but rather that the tape was erased merely to plant suspicious evidence.
That's beautiful.
