Does/did Pres. Ford smoke?

He smoked a pipe while in Congress and as President, but don't know if he ever quit post-presidency. If you count pipe smoking as "smooking." Mostly pipe smokers can't keep the thing lit for more than five seconds at a time.
LOL re the re-lighting etc, remember it well, I smoked a pipe & cigarettes too before quitting in 1984 when Nicorette became available.
Still, pipes could lead to mouth or throat cancers even if you didn't inhale as a relative of mine found out.
