breaking on msnbc
Do you have information for us that you can share? Sources perhaps?
Silly you.
I agree with you there.
I know, I know.
I can't help but poke at them!
Teterboro RE tax rate is almost zero. The airport pays most of the freight for services
Discussing possibilities is not the same thing as wild speculation.
Yes, very right, and thank you for your rebuttal!
I brought along my Canon ZR-90 and filmed the event. I'm currently editing the video in Adobe Premiere. It is my first effort and I find it to be laborious, but fascinating.
After we safely landed in Pensacola, my friend leaned over and said that "Oh, by the way, this is the same kind of jet that Ebersol crashed in a week or so ago."
I'm watching my footage this morning and getting the "Willys."
ping ???
Holy Name is about 5 miles from the crash site while Hackensack Medical Center is probably 1.5 - 2 miles.
*shrugs*
The direction of the skid in the grass is not in line with the direction of the runway, so he did try to steer it away from the road.
Unfortunately, for whatever reason, he beelined straight across the grass, across the road and into the waehouse across the street.
Speculation, but the green laser pointer incidents of Dec30 and Jan12 come to mind.
Welcome. Don't be easily intimidated.
I never claimed expertise. I was just bringing some information in that seemed like it might be relevant under the circumstances. I had hoped that we could let it go with a simple "It's too early to say."
How dare you speculate! don't you know that is verbotten on this site now! /sarc
witness reported pilot dragging himself with broken leg away from plane
"Here's an interesting local piece of information....."
Thanks for this info. I wonder if it has a mayor and city council.
LOL!
So I've heard.
*chuckle*
But I'm the keeper of the watercooler, so this is officially 'watercooler rumorspeak' at the moment.
/ joke.
1. The plane did not explode, but rather skidded.
2. No hijacking, but normal corporate pilots in control of the plane.
3. Plane did not crash, but skidded.
4. Building plane crashed into was not a reasonable terrorist target; it is a clothing warehouse.
5. Jet was not carrying anyone of note politically, but tax firm people on their way to Chicago.
I do not appreciate either of you immediately pinging me and telling me that this is similar to 9/11. It is not, and I don't like the assumption that every event in this country is a conspiracy. Accidents happened during WWII as well; not every mishap was the fault of Hirohito or Hitler.
It was a logical question as there have been several incidents of lasers being shone into cockpits AT Teterboro airport.
Um, yes it was logical. Now here's a question for you. Of all these incidents how many have gone down because of laser dazzling? You see, that is why there is a co-pilot, just in case the pilot is incapacitated for any reason. I understand this plane was probably taking off, which would not allow much time for the copilot to take control, but if you look closely the jet never left the ground which to me means there was some mechanical problem not allowing the jet to get airborne. If the pilot was blinded you don't think that the co-pilot could have pulled back on the controls and at least got them into the air? Or was this "laser terrorist" so good that he blinded them both with one fail swoop of his penlight? I think not.
Here's a question for you: How many of the planes laser dazzled were taking off?
