Kerry is incorrect. If you add up the votes Kerry got in the 17 battleground states (AZ AR CO FL IA ME MI MN MO NV NH NM OH OR PA WA WV & WI), Kerry got 22,977,886 votes (or 49.4% excluding 3rd party candidates). In the same 17 battleground states, Bush got 23,445,587 votes (or 50.6% excluding 3rd party candidates).
"Battleground states" as determined by TIME Magazine
Election results added up from CNN.
Perhaps Kerry was counting New Jersey and Hawaii as "Battleground states."

I"ll never forget hearing Clinton Justice Dept operative Eric Holder smugly predicting that "Kerry will win if every vote is counted." Here's a column that documents it:
http://www.aberdeennews.com/mld/aberdeennews/news/special_packages/election2004/polman/9999765.htm
There was no doubt in my mind that Holder was in on the fix. He knew the plans afoot for illegal Soros funded voters to steal the election.
Thank God Bush won (on many counts). But foremost, the crooks from the Clinton administration,, like Eric Holder, are not back in high government positions.

It is not enough for the Democrats to long for redistributing wealth, now they want to redistribute the vote.

If you add in NJ and HI as "battleground" states, Kerry gets 25,022,160 votes in the battleground. But Bush still beats him with 25,233,900 votes. Closer margin, but Bush still wins.

We just didn't distribute it correctly in Ohio. Freudian slip? WE didn't distribute it correctly? hmmm?

As with ANYTHING libs say, you have to ask what is the definition of Battleground States, or a better question:
Senator sKerry, what ARE the Battleground states.
Then of course, we need to ask how he is calculating things: Is he calculating by actual votes? Or by intended votes? Or is he adding in a certain number of votes to cover the supposed 'disenfranchised' voter (sometimes called STUPID voters).
Remember, with politicians, and libs in particular, you never know what they truly mean.
Of course, all this above may be moot and sKerry is either lying or his memory fragments are so jumbled up he honestly believes he won the popular vote (sound familiar?).

He was also heard to explain, "I have won at roulette several times. It just happened that I had my chips on the wrong numbers."

I really don't understand this obsession. We're talking about a 3 million or so margin nationwide, and over a hundred thousand votes in the decisive state (OH). It's not a few hundred votes here or there, with credible allegations of fraud or incompetence to go with them. That would make a difference, and would be more understandable if they made such a fuss over. But Bush has been inaugurated, the bands have gone home, Congress is in session, the army is in its barracks, no one is going to jail or being shot over the election. Why can't Kerry and the 'Rats just get on with their lives?

We just didn't distribute it correctly in Ohio.If candidates were allowed to redistribute votes, any of a dozen different third-parties (Such as the World Workers Party) could have won 49 states by distributing their several thousand votes across the 49 states while piling all other votes into one state. I am reasonably sure that we will never have an election system where the candidates are allowed to re-distribute votes....Sorry Kerry, it ain't gonna happen...
