The Terri Schindler Schiavo Daily Threads are created month to month as we watch local and national news regarding Terri and her family.

Since Terri's supporters are in every time zone, you may see something FIRST. Please share news with us that you don't see here already. Now, why would you want to do that? Terri's Daily Thread for September/October of 2004 was viewed over 15,000 times. Terri's November Daily Thread was viewed over 6,000 times. December's thread is over 3,000 views. More and more good folks are finding out about Terri and that judicial tyranny would take her life, but for lots and lots of prayer and non-stop lobbying of relatives, friends, clergy, our leaders, the media, a passerby, a cashier - ANYONE who you feel comfortable chatting with.

Folks always want to know how can this be in America or on earth for that matter? Unfortunately, this is really happening to an innocent woman who just celebrated her 41st birthday. She's not the only one but she's the one with devoted parents and siblings who knows what's in Terri's heart. Terri has a strong will to live. That's apparent. It's been 14 years.

Besides, feeding tubes have been around practically since the Civil War. They are not high tech devices. Terri is "not hooked up to machines". Her feeding tube is the diameter of a piece of spaghetti.

Talkin' about Terri is the best way to lobby for her. It is a salespitch to save her life and subsequently, many lives. If you've never sold anything in your life, START NOW. START WITH TERRI.

AGAIN WE HAVE A NEW RECORD: 15,103 views on the tote board for the Terri Schindler Schiavo January Daily Thread!

The most significant event in Terri's case in January, was the Supreme's Courts refusal to hear Governor Jeb Bush's appeal, after the Florida State Legislature struck down Terri's Law. This once again places Terri's life in extreme jeopardy, though there are other issues regarding her case before the court.

There are no statues of George W. "Haman" Greer YET. But there could be effigies made of him, and maybe they could be burned in public. Liberals did that to Ronald Reagan in 1982. And opponents of Jay's Treaty burned Hamilton in effigy in 1794. Greer must think he is the most important man in FL -- and he may be!!!!!

Tomorrow should be interesting, TR ... perhaps some of our in-place FReepers will see or hear something. The only thing I'm aware of right now is that the document for investigation by DCF has been presented to the attorneys for both sides. It's basically confidential and will be, but since the time schedule is less than 3 weeks rather than 60 days, the investigation will be super full-speed, or a request for the original 60 days would be made ... tomorrow should tell. But don't discount the tremendous amount of work and monitoring that goes on behind the scenes ... God moves in mysterious ways, His wonders to perform.

I thank you for your thoughtful post. You took the words right out of my mouth. Using the strategy we have been discussing, we lost the abortion battle, and we will never get those 40 million babies back. We CANNOT make the same mistake AGAIN. We CANNOT UNDERESTIMATE the importance and significance of strategy and PR and the role it plays in the success of any movement. BTW, Liberals WELL understand it.

I hope I never hear again about mistakes that were made - EVER. It's such a morale buster and what an insult to everyone who has gotten us this far. We aren't done yet.

I'm praying for Terri. If you all want to wring your hands, that's not a strategy.

your 4618. You make it sound like we are having a mardi gras outside of Hospice Woodside. I can tell you've never been. You need to know that the secularists are inside Hospice and they are the ones who are waiting to kill Terri. Hitler was a secularist.

It is hurtful to Catholics to refer Rosary Beads as "beads" and to actually think that we are having a parade. It's no parade. Vigils are for "prayer" and Catholics "say the Rosary". Do you want them not to pray? I think you are missing the point of the Vigils.

No one is wringing their hands. There is nothing wrong with reviewing one's strategy. It is a good thing to do in any battle. No one is saying any serious past mistake were made (regarding Terri). But in the culture war, and the war against abortion, some mistakes were made that shouldn't be repeated. It's only common sense.

I have been truly amazed, impressed and inspired by the work people on these threads do. And have said so over and over again and will continue to say so. Furthermore, I don't want to see all the GOOD undone. Focus ALWAYS on the positive. But don't at your own peril, IGNORE the negative.
