The Terri Schindler Schiavo Daily Threads are created month to month as we watch local and national news regarding Terri and her family.

Since Terri's supporters are in every time zone, you may see something FIRST. Please share news with us that you don't see here already. Now, why would you want to do that? More and more good folks are finding out about Terri and that judicial tyranny would take her life, but for lots and lots of prayer and non-stop lobbying of relatives, friends, clergy, our leaders, the media, a passerby, a cashier - ANYONE who you feel comfortable chatting with.

Folks always want to know how can this be in America or on earth for that matter? Unfortunately, this is really happening to an innocent woman who just celebrated her 41st birthday. She's not the only one but she's the one with devoted parents and siblings who knows what's in Terri's heart. Terri has a strong will to live. That's apparent. It's been 14 years.

Besides, feeding tubes have been around practically since the Civil War. They are not high tech devices. Terri is "not hooked up to machines". Her feeding tube is the diameter of a piece of spaghetti.

Talkin' about Terri is the best way to lobby for her. It is a salespitch to save her life and subsequently, many lives. If you've never sold anything in your life, START NOW. START WITH TERRI.

AGAIN WE HAVE A NEW RECORD: 15,103 views on the tote board for the Terri Schindler Schiavo January Daily Thread!

The most significant event in Terri's case in January, was the Supreme's Courts refusal to hear Governor Jeb Bush's appeal, after the Florida State Legislature struck down Terri's Law. This once again places Terri's life in extreme jeopardy, though there are other issues regarding her case before the court.

MarMema I had that article pinged to me before. It was an eye opener. This Euthanasia battle simply MUST be won. I hope people will use WISDOM to fight it. The abortion battle was lost and the blood of 40 million MURDERED BABIES cries out from the ground for Justice and God will exact Justice on the country. The Euthanasia battle, IF lost, will bring even harsher judgement. This is So very important.

Thank You, O God, that You have drawn us together as one to plead her cause before the Throne of Grace and in the courts of law and public opinion. Take that which is helpful ... put aside that which gets in the way ... but bless every effort put forth by sincere people who seek to save the life of this wounded woman. Our efforts may be different but our aim is the same ... rescue this innocent woman, O God ... vindicate the love of mother and father and sister and brother and return her to the love of her devoted family. I simply CANNOT believe the rediculous and selfish stubborness I see.

You have to believe it. It is very real and that is the challenge.

Everyone who cares whether Terri lives or dies is NOT CATHOLIC!! They may have NO church affiliation whatsoever.

That would be me. I believe we have a Bishop down there that doesn't much care either. Correct on that?

The fact is IT DOES OFFEND non religious people who would otherwise morally be in agreement if they could get to know the facts.

Moral people that are not religious just could be more guided by God through self teaching then some who are regimented by a religious order. I always like to talk to ministers and priests and often watch them on TV. That doesn't mean I believe everything they say. I just try to sort it out the best I can. It is probably the hard way of doing it, but my father always said I always learned the hard way. I better stop here before I get myself into to much trouble.

The issues that surround the right to life and the dignity that goes with it are polarizing political issues. There are three sides to the question before us. One is the individual that doesn't take a stand but rather has no opinion at all (ie: abortion, the ones who say they are personally opposed to abortion but tolerate it for other people. That it is their decision.) The next one is people who advocated euthanasia, who leave it up to the individual and to the government and applaud and demand the taxpayer to pay for it. The third are people like myself who are opposed to the killing of innocent children and the euthanasia of our disabled and senior citizens. If a person in Jeb Bush's position desires to be a national figure and lead it seems to me that now is the time to take a stand.
Leadership involves soliciting the help of those who agree with you but greater still persuading those who either don't have an opinion or those having an opinion opposed to yours to either agree or abandon their position. This is Jeb's opportunity.

Well, the big question is: did the FL agency try to monitor Terri over the weekend? If not, can we expect a major confrontation Monday or Tuesday when Michael R. Schiavo blocks their entrance into "his" hospice? I don't like the fact that this agency seems to be taking weekends off when time is of such urgency.
