TERRI SCHINDLER SCHIAVO FEBRUARY DAILY THREAD 2005: TERRI IS OUR VALENTINE!
Free Republic and various sources | December 30, 2004, January 31, 2005 | Florida Voter

*Michael, HAVE A HEART !!!!!For Valentines Day give Terri back to her MOM & DAD, The Schindlers!!!!!!!!*

The Terri Schindler Schiavo Daily Threads are created month to month as we watch local and national news regarding Terri and her family.

Since Terri's supporters are in every time zone, you may see something FIRST. Please share news with us that you don't see here already. Now, why would you want to do that? Terri's Daily Thread for September/October of 2004 was viewed over 15,000 times. Terri's November Daily Thread was viewed over 6,000 times. December's thread is over 3,000 views. January 2005 Daily Thread was a RECORD HIGH!!!!!!! 15, 103 VIEWS!!!!!!

More and more good folks are finding out about Terri and that judicial tyranny would take her life, but for lots and lots of prayer and non-stop lobbying of relatives, friends, clergy, our leaders, the media, a passerby, a cashier - ANYONE who you feel comfortable chatting with.

Folks always want to know how can this be in America or on earth for that matter? Unfortunately, this is really happening to an innocent woman who just celebrated her 41st birthday. She's not the only one but she's the one with devoted parents and siblings who knows what's in Terri's heart. Terri has a strong will to live. That's apparent. It's been 14 years.

Besides, feeding tubes have been around practically since the Civil War. They are not high tech devices. Terri is "not hooked up to machines". Her feeding tube is the diameter of a piece of spaghetti.

Talkin' about Terri is the best way to lobby for her. It is a salespitch to save her life and subsequently, many lives. If you've never sold anything in your life, START NOW. START WITH TERRI.

See Terri's flash movies if you need more information. You can see for yourself that's she's interactive and follows the doctor's instructions.

Visit: http://www.terrisfight.org

NOTE: Terri's December Dailies are noted as a source above. There are lots of important links at the very top of that thread. If you missed Terri's Celebration of Life, you can click on it from there.

AGAIN WE HAVE A NEW RECORD: 15,103 views on the tote board for the Terri Schindler Schiavo January Daily Thread!

The most significant event in Terri's case in January, was the Supreme's Courts refusal to hear Governor Jeb Bush's appeal, after the Florida State Legislature struck down Terri's Law. This once again places Terri's life in extreme jeopardy, though there are other issues regarding her case before the court.

"Years ago, "Madison Avenue" advertising agencies had the viewpoint about persons taking the time to write favorably or unfavorably with regard to a product, "One letter equals the opinion of 50,000 people."

We have 3 weeks to deluge Florida, Washington, D.C., and the Justice Department with snail-mails. Handwritten P.S.'s get more attention.

Rarely have I written to members of the House and Senate and not received a personal reply, Democrat and Republican."

Do you think it matters if letters are hand-written or typed?

Type but add a handwritten postscript.

A few years ago, I began sending postal cards. One rep wrote back that he had never seen such a variety of subjects on one little card. He sent me Al Gore's "Creating a Government that Works Better and Costs Less."

Shouldn't be a surprise to me, but it is nonetheless.

Michael didn't pull the plug on his parents. He refused them food and water.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I understand her mother died in their house.

My latest post from another thread, responding to the characterization that Terri is the victim of discrimination:

Exactly ... and he's engaged the best legal spinmeister in the killing biz .. whose goals mesh with MS's brilliantly .. quite a quinella. It's obvious that Terri communicates and is responsive .. but she does so to the best of HER capacities, due to the denial by MS of remedial and therapeutic rehab. And, because her responses are "different" from healthy people, they get away with discriminating language in describing her disabilities and inabilities in a most coarse and confident way.

It's like the Menedez brothers seeking pity, because they're orphans. "If she could talk and was responsive, I'd let her live."

I'm so sure that they thought she would perish long ago, but, God Bless her, Terri has a constituion and spunk that's defied credulity and all the "killing-for-convenience" crowd's certain expectations. We don't know why, but I believe she survives for a special purpose in God's plan, and pray His grace and mercy continues to shine on her, blanket her family with strength and patience, and that MS will have an epiphany of conscience, or get so sick of dealing with this that he's inspired to walk away to his new life and let Terri be with her devoted family until God calls her.

My thoughts have also been drawn to Rome, and I think it's particularly poignant and thought-provoking that, at this same time Terri's life is again in peril, Pope John, who's latest missive denounces euthanasia, is also in medical peril .. as if calling attention in a global way to this issue. God Bless them both! Fight, Terri, fight on!!

don't know about the rest of you all but I cannot sleep tonight for thinking of all of this garbage!!!! Praying that God will render Justice. If Michael is not going to be repentant, ( and it sure looks like he is not headed in that direction), then my prayer is that GOD will remove him as guardian, by removing him from the earth!!!!

Now Now, we don't want him removed from this earth. We want him to need a feeding tube that can be UNPLUGGED any time thru a court order. That would be justice.

I believe your right. That is why GOVERNOR BUSH MUST, ABSOLUTELY MUST, EXERCISE HIS EXECUTIVE PRIVILEGE in accordance with Florid Statutes with regard to a disbled person. He MUST SEIZE control of Terri and place her under HIS PROTECTIVE ORDER!! IF Governor Bush does NOT do this, he's as guilty as the rest of the those in the wide net of corruption and cover-up!! I simply CANNOT make any EXCUSES for Jeb Bush. He has an ABSOLUTE responsibility to Terri RIGHT NOW. IF he's doing all he can do (and he's not)then he should visit Terri HIMSELF.

I've had friends and family, who were near the end of their lives, and were given loving care by hospice volunteers, God Bless them. They were terminal ... Terri's not, so I'm in the dark of the policies of the hospice that Terr's in. I don't frankly see the reason she's IN a hospice facility. My understanding is that hospice shows up at your home when it's near the end, so you can have a peaceful death there, not in an institution.

Is it possible to inject a person with a chemical that would be undetected but would cause a low potassium level?

Hubby said (he knows chemistry) undoubtedly there is and it doesn't need to be something that's undetectable because they would have been checking for enzyme levels (signs of heart attack) and electrolytes. If the ER didn't know to look for something specific it's not likely they'd have accidently stumbled on it.

I understand there was no accusation in your question, just curiosity.
