More and more good folks are finding out about Terri and that judicial tyranny would take her life, but for lots and lots of prayer and non-stop lobbying of relatives, friends, clergy, our leaders, the media, a passerby, a cashier - ANYONE who you feel comfortable chatting with.
Folks always want to know how can this be in America or on earth for that matter? Unfortunately, this is really happening to an innocent woman who just celebrated her 41st birthday. She's not the only one but she's the one with devoted parents and siblings who knows what's in Terri's heart. Terri has a strong will to live. That's apparent. It's been 14 years.
Besides, feeding tubes have been around practically since the Civil War. They are not high tech devices. Terri is "not hooked up to machines". Her feeding tube is the diameter of a piece of spaghetti.
Talkin' about Terri is the best way to lobby for her. It is a salespitch to save her life and subsequently, many lives. If you've never sold anything in your life, START NOW. START WITH TERRI.

AGAIN WE HAVE A NEW RECORD: 15,103 views on the tote board for the Terri Schindler Schiavo January Daily Thread!
The most significant event in Terri's case in January, was the Supreme's Courts refusal to hear Governor Jeb Bush's appeal, after the Florida State Legislature struck down Terri's Law. This once again places Terri's life in extreme jeopardy, though there are other issues regarding her case before the court.
I know he'll probably never see it, but I sent him a letter, info@ap.org, saying thank you for highlighting those issues. I also told him that this case has implications for those afflicted with other brain disorders like Alzheimers, and that maybe readers should be aware of that. I hope the positive feedback to him helped.

Jeepers!, he just now is allowing them to see those documents? They have tried to remove the husband from being the guardian before but they got nowhere with Greer. Don't forget that Greer also named himself as a guardian for Terri....which just blows my mind!
I don't believe Jodi (or Eleanor for that matter) put up the money for that little mansion in Clearwater either. I think it was falsely financed from Terri's funds.
Just saw Greta. Felos decline to come again. Thank goodness. She played her little taped segment of Felos and announce that he and Michael declined to appear.
Booy and David Gibbs were great tonight also and mentioned the DCF appearing.
She surprised me tonight and had a doctor on who described dehydrating and starving someone to death. Not a pretty picture. He implied that he thought Terri would feel pain, based on his knowledge of the case.
I thought Felos looked like he was sulking on Foxnews one or two days ago....he didn't act like his brash self and I think he was sitting down...while he said that he was sure that the case would be over and Terri would be unhooked from artificial life support, his expression and eyes didn't look all that sure and he looked real unhappy
I read a news story...forget the source...saying Randall went up to MS and introduced himself, then politely asked him to let Terri go to her parents. Michael then said, "Mr. Terry, I don't want to talk to you...get off my property". It was on one of the Terri threads, but there are too many to remember which one. LOL
I believe it was reported that the so-called terrorist was a Priest.
By Golly I think the picketing is having an effect. My observation also is that Felos is starting to look and act like a looser. he was always so cocky before. He looks like he's down and out, to me lately. I think there needs ot be more picketers. I wish I could go.

Terri's winning this week. Prayer does work. Lots and lots of prayer.
I am getting bored with the wallpaper and chair rail at Felos & Felos, P.A. Maybe he should remodel his office instead of starving people and get into sports law instead where the big athletes wouldn't let him push them around.
Schiavo's parents begin 24 hour vigil
St. Petersburg - Bob and Mary Schindler have done everything they can think of for their daughter.
As a last resort, the Schindler's will start a twenty-four hour vigil at Woodside Hospice in St. Petersburg in an effort to help save their daughter. Their daughter is Terri Schiavo. A thirty-nine year old woman who has been in a coma like state for thirteen years since a massive heart attack in 1990.
The Schindler's have been battling the court system and Terri's husband for years. In court, a state judge ordered Schiavo's feeding tube be removed October 15th. Schiavo's husband, Michael, says his wife never wanted to be kept alive artificially. Schiavo's parents say Terri responds to voices and believes she could be rehabilitated.
The Schindler's and Michael Schiavo have also been fighting over who is the legal guardian of Terri. A judge is expected to rule on that issue soon.

So after all these years as supposedly Comatose, or PVS, or dying in a Hospice, being "kept alive by machines", her heart is so strong that Michael has to forcibly kill her off, even trying for six days and failing by starving/dehydrating her, YET WE ARE SUPPOSED TO BELIEVE AS A VERY YOUNG WOMAN SHE GOT THIS WAY BY HAVING A MASSIVE HEART ATTACK???

For any "newbees" to this thread, here are the numbers to call. Ask them to save Terri Schiavo by NOT allowing her to starve to death.

I also forgot to mention we didn't expect the legislatures to take a vacation while Terri's life is at stake and the DCF is investigating this case.

CALL TO ACTION for FLORIDIANS
Lori Kehoe, congressional liaison for NRLC's Robert Powell Center for Medical Ethics, called on Florida citizens to "immediately" contact their state senators and representatives and ask them to support HB 701, a bill that bans the "withholding or withdrawal of nutrition or hydration from incompetent persons."
The bill "declares that an incompetent person is presumed to have directed health care providers to provide the necessary nutrition and hydration to sustain life; prohibits a court, proxy, or surrogate from withholding or withdrawing nutrition or hydration except under specified circumstances; provides that the presumption to provide nutrition and hydration is inapplicable under certain circumstances; conforms provisions to changes made by the act; declares that the act supersedes existing court orders otherwise applicable on or after the effective date of the act."
