More and more good folks are finding out about Terri and that judicial tyranny would take her life, but for lots and lots of prayer and non-stop lobbying of relatives, friends, clergy, our leaders, the media, a passerby, a cashier - ANYONE who you feel comfortable chatting with.
Folks always want to know how can this be in America or on earth for that matter? Unfortunately, this is really happening to an innocent woman who just celebrated her 41st birthday. She's not the only one but she's the one with devoted parents and siblings who knows what's in Terri's heart. Terri has a strong will to live. That's apparent. It's been 14 years.
Besides, feeding tubes have been around practically since the Civil War. They are not high tech devices. Terri is "not hooked up to machines". Her feeding tube is the diameter of a piece of spaghetti.
Talkin' about Terri is the best way to lobby for her. It is a salespitch to save her life and subsequently, many lives. If you've never sold anything in your life, START NOW. START WITH TERRI.

The most significant event in Terri's case in January, was the Supreme's Courts refusal to hear Governor Jeb Bush's appeal, after the Florida State Legislature struck down Terri's Law. This once again places Terri's life in extreme jeopardy, though there are other issues regarding her case before the court.
I had a feeling when the family found out that she was missing teeth, that it was done without any novicaine. It made me sick then, and it makes me sick now. God, please save this young woman.

I just called my US Senator, Richard Burr of North Carolina and asked him to sponsor a bill to stop the starvation and dehydration of the disable, who cannot speak for themselves. I told him about the new law they are considering in the Florida House of Representatives. The gentleman was real nice, not like the phone screeners in Florida.
I don't know if he will do anything or not, but if everyone called their senators, at least we can give them a chance to sponsor a bill for people like Terri.
Off to call my other Senator, Elizabeth Dole.
That bit about the fountains going outside the hospice where people are dehydrated hit me hard. When I was very ill but didn't know it (I thought I had the flu) I became so severely dehydrated that I couldn't hold water down even when I drank it. As I explained to someone who emailed me to ask about it, dying of dehydration is like dying from lack of oxygen...it feels like suffocating in a different way. I don't know how to describe it. You know your body needs something vital and you are in agony without it. That's how I felt. I dreamed every night and every day when I would drift off about floating in big pools of water (I still didn't know dehydration was my problem...I didn't feel thirsty!). I finally collapsed and couldn't get up...couldn't even lift my head. I remember crying out, "HELP ME!" It was the worst thing I have ever experienced in my life.
It was that bit about the pools of water outside the hospice that just hit me hard when I remembered dreaming about floating in pools of water as I was dehydrating to death.

Keep in mind when Terri makes sounds, she is attempting to talk, but needs therapy in order to talk. Even without therapy, Terri can say a few words. Sadly, Michael won't allow her to have therapy.
On Sean's Hannity's website, there was a poster that actually started an anti-Terri thread, and even this person admitted that this video is compelling, and he had never seen it before.

As I and others said, earlier on this thread, no matter how this works out, any legal means available to bring all the parties who have caused harm to Terri and her family to justice should be pursued. If Michael, Felos, Judge Greer and all those who have helped THEM think that Terri's death would be the END of this THEY are from their own perspective, SADLY MISTAKEN. IT is only the BEGINNING.

I'm amazed and disgusted at the ignorance of so many people. I was trying once again to explain Terri's condition at work yesterday yet every last one of the adults never could get off the PVS or coma or brain dead hoopla. There is hope because the teens I taught last year still ask me about Terri and are concerned. I was discussing it with one of them yesterday after school and several came up to hear the news. Teens can be airheads about many things, but they are not closed minded and cold hearted as adults apparently are.
I suggest you print out the Florida starvation and dehydration of persons with disabilities prevention act petition and have those kids sign it, then send it or fax it to FRTL, as they are capturing these for the FL senate
