Since Terri's supporters are in every time zone, you may see something FIRST. Please share news with us that you don't see here already. Now, why would you want to do that? More and more good folks are finding out about Terri and that judicial tyranny would take her life, but for lots and lots of prayer and non-stop lobbying of relatives, friends, clergy, our leaders, the media, a passerby, a cashier - ANYONE who you feel comfortable chatting with.

Folks always want to know how can this be in America or on earth for that matter? Unfortunately, this is really happening to an innocent woman who just celebrated her 41st birthday. She's not the only one but she's the one with devoted parents and siblings who knows what's in Terri's heart. Terri has a strong will to live. That's apparent. It's been 14 years.

Besides, feeding tubes have been around practically since the Civil War. They are not high tech devices. Terri is "not hooked up to machines". Her feeding tube is the diameter of a piece of spaghetti.

Talkin' about Terri is the best way to lobby for her. It is a salespitch to save her life and subsequently, many lives. If you've never sold anything in your life, START NOW. START WITH TERRI.

The most significant event in Terri's case in January, was the Supreme's Courts refusal to hear Governor Jeb Bush's appeal, after the Florida State Legislature struck down Terri's Law. This once again places Terri's life in extreme jeopardy, though there are other issues regarding her case before the court.

Some men cannot grasp the commitment involved in marriage. California’s Scott Peterson, for example, misunderstood the words “till death do us part” as a permission slip to murder his wife. Likewise, Michael Schiavo from Florida, ignoring the lines “in sickness or in health,” has opted against both fidelity and divorce in favor of court-sanctioned forced starvation for his wife.

Short of a miracle, be it left to God or to huge public outcry, the days of Terri Schindler-Schiavo are numbered. While the mainstream media wrongly presents Terri’s case as a minor ethical dilemma over death with dignity for a “vegetable,” evidence of her consciousness and severe spousal abuse by Michael Schiavo stays out of public perception.

The mainstream media keeps buying Michael Schiavo’s argument that Terri has been in a persistent vegetative state since suffering a brain injury following a fall in 1990. Florida state law defines PVS as “the absence of voluntary action or cognitive behavior of any kind” and “an inability to communicate or interact purposefully with the environment.” This definition does not reflect Terri’s condition.

This is something we've been following for some TIME. It's been going on for YEARS !!

A young lady, who had a "questionable accident" in Florida is being fed small pieces of food and hydrated by a tube going directly to her stomach. She swallows her own saliva. She responds positively to visits from her parents with expressions and sounds. etc. BUT, her husband has forbidden ANY therapy for more than 15 YEARS !! During the same period, her "husband" has denied her mother and father and family and friends visitation privileges off and on - including, last year, MOTHER'S DAY ... during which period he suggested to the family, IN WRITING, that they "could go see her - IF THEY PAYED to do so !!

The SAME "husband", who has meanwhile fathered two children by another woman and has obtained and spent millions of dollars through "medical mal-practice suits" filed "on behalf" of his wife (Terri), claims that she, Ms. Terri Schiavo, told him once that she wouldn't want to be "kept alive" but has no documentation to support the claim. He NOW is poised to get what he wants from a Florida Judge (Greer) who has "sentenced" her to death by starvation/dehydration....( i.e. "pull the tube" ) [NOTE: Michael Schiavo, the "perp" here, has already obtained and executed similar "orders" on his own Mother and Father.]

THAT Judge HAS NEVER PERSONALLY visited with her to see that her eyes and expressions prove that she is responsive to stimuli.

Meanwhile, her parents are fighting with all they have just to give the "estranged husband" all the money, the property, etc. accumulated during the marriage with their daughter and let THEM assume care of her and he can "go his way".... He won't accept the terms... AND there is reason to believe that he may have been involved in the "accident" which left Ms. Terri Schiavo in the condition she's in.... but it has never been investigated !!

A basic tenent of interpreting the law is to avoid "absurd consequences". The court should review issues of statutory construction de novo, as it is for the court to decide what a statute means. The first rule in considering the meaning and effect of a statute is to construe it just as it reads, giving the words their ordinary and usually accepted meaning in common language; when the language of a statute is plain and unambiguous, there is no need to resort to rules of
statutory construction. But even if you do resort to the rules, the basic rule of statutory construction is to give effect to the intent of the legislating body; where the language of the statute is plain and unambiguous, the court should determine legislative intent from the ordinary meaning of the language used.The court should construe the statute so that no word is left void, superfluous, or insignificant; meaning and effect are given to every word in the statute if possible; the court should not, however, give statutes a literal interpretation if it leads to absurd consequences that are contrary to legislative intent.

In May of 1999, U.S. Supreme Court Justice Atonin Scalia, while defending morality's place in the law, said government should not be chosen on the basis of what's best for a person's faith. He stated the following: "Government is not meant to save souls but to protect life and property and serve the common good. Its responsibility is the here, not the hereafter."

NOW... IF in order to protect Ms. Schiavo's life, the Florida court (Greer) orders the taking of it..... Go figure. "Terri" could be any of us !!

ADDITIONALLY, IF [or "once"] they succeed in committing what is easily perceived by even an uneducated person of reasonable mind to be tantamount to "murder under color of law" [NOT to be confused with captial punishment after due process], the court (Greer) has ordered that she be IMMEDIATELY cremated and further that her family be PROHIBITED from erecting any memorial to her in the family cemetery... AND, during the trial, the testimony of all doctors, friends, and family members of Ms. Schiavo, was determined to be INADMISSABLE by the court (Greer).
