More and more good folks are finding out about Terri and that judicial tyranny would take her life, but for lots and lots of prayer and non-stop lobbying of relatives, friends, clergy, our leaders, the media, a passerby, a cashier - ANYONE who you feel comfortable chatting with.
Folks always want to know how can this be in America or on earth for that matter? Unfortunately, this is really happening to an innocent woman who just celebrated her 41st birthday. She's not the only one but she's the one with devoted parents and siblings who knows what's in Terri's heart. Terri has a strong will to live. That's apparent. It's been 14 years.
Besides, feeding tubes have been around practically since the Civil War. They are not high tech devices. Terri is "not hooked up to machines". Her feeding tube is the diameter of a piece of spaghetti.
Talkin' about Terri is the best way to lobby for her. It is a salespitch to save her life and subsequently, many lives. If you've never sold anything in your life, START NOW. START WITH TERRI.

AGAIN WE HAVE A NEW RECORD: 15,103 views on the tote board for the Terri Schindler Schiavo January Daily Thread!
The most significant event in Terri's case in January, was the Supreme's Courts refusal to hear Governor Jeb Bush's appeal, after the Florida State Legislature struck down Terri's Law. This once again places Terri's life in extreme jeopardy, though there are other issues regarding her case before the court.
I am glad AG CRIST helped out that man, BUT WHERE IS AG CRIST WHEN IT COMES TO TERRI?

Anyone can call the legislatures. They'll take you more seriously if you are a Florida resident or doing business with Florida, or a frequent visitor to Florida, but all calls help. I don't live in Florida either, but every call, email, etc lets them know that Terri's case is getting national exposure.
I don't think the legislature would have passed Terri's law in the first place, if it hadn't have been for the calls, emails, faxes, etc. to the politicians. They were planning to sweep it under the rug, but when Terri did not die, they hastily passed Terri's law. As it was they allowed Terri to go without food and water for days. Remarkably Terri lived for 6 days without food and water before they started rehydrating and feeding her.
And one of the reasons that people are not informed is because of this type of mindset that tries to hide that information.

One big problem with this man is that he is devious and stupid. He accepted, legally, campaign donations from Felos and his coterie (Bar Association, Disciplinary committee), but considering the high profile of this case he also exercised poor judgment because it does appear as though he is accepting a bribe, because to little ol me, that is exactly what it was. He has impugned the honor, dignity, veracity of the judicial system of the entire state of Florida. I'm very embarrassed for them, and the fact that the nation knows about it makes it doubly so.
I'll up that by 4x, but I will also match it to the Schindler's for their legal defense fund, they need it more than Michael who has been playing King Midas with Terri's money. I wondered about this the other day myself.
I don't know under what guise Michael sued Prudential, but I did find that Prudential's health care business was losing money, and they sold it:

Those anti-Terri statistics you posted are very sad. I see threads on Hannity's website, where there are a lot of liberals, and it seems to be 6 - 1 in favor of Terri living and against Michael and the courts.
I guess more people need to be informed. I have written letters to the editor to explain Terri's situation, & I wish everyone here who has the time would, as well.
Tip: shorter letters tend to be published and read more.
Perhaps when we all go to church services, we could ask our priest, minister or rabbi to pray for Terri and ask him to ask the entire congregation to do so.
When I went to the vigil mass today, I asked my priest to please pray for Terri Schiavo, as they want to pull her feeding tube for the third time. He said that he would pray, and he would also mention it at tomorrow's mass.
Maybe we can add tens of thousands more folks praying for Terri, in addition to those who already are praying.
I wish someone would ask the poll question: "Should a married man be allowed to have two children by another woman, move in with her, and pledge to marry her, without forfeiting any and all rights and authority he would have as husband to his wife?"
I wonder how many people would say 'yes'?
I saw those poll numbers as well and they are pretty disheartening.
I just read A Visit With Terri at theempirejournal, and aside from reinforcing the fact that Terri is not in a PVS as the other side says, it made me think of a local story that was in the news here a week ago.
An elderly woman pushed her friend's two-year-old child out of the way of an oncoming car just before it hit her instead. They didn't think she would live. However, she did, and with much physical therapy, INCLUDING LEARNING HOW TO SWALLOW, she is due to go home with her husband of 30 years, who was at her side the entire time, and she didn't even remember him at first. Such a switch from Michael, who wouldn't even allow the nurses to prevent Terri's hands from contracting.

Unfortunately, no. I saw it on television, and I don't even remember which station. I tried to google it, but no luck.
