TERRI SCHINDLER SCHIAVO FEBRUARY DAILY THREAD 2005: TERRI IS OUR VALENTINE!
Free Republic and various sources | December 30, 2004, January 31, 2005 | Florida Voter

Posted on 01/31/2005 9:14:49 PM PST by TAdams8591

*Michael, HAVE A HEART !!!!!For Valentines Day give Terri back to her MOM & DAD, The Schindlers!!!!!!!!*

The Terri Schindler Schiavo Daily Threads are created month to month as we watch local and national news regarding Terri and her family.

Since Terri's supporters are in every time zone, you may see something FIRST. Please share news with us that you don't see here already. Now, why would you want to do that? Terri's Daily Thread for September/October of 2004 was viewed over 15,000 times. Terri's November Daily Thread was viewed over 6,000 times. December's thread is over 3,000 views. January 2005 Daily Thread was a RECORD HIGH!!!!!!! 15, 103 VIEWS!!!!!!

More and more good folks are finding out about Terri and that judicial tyranny would take her life, but for lots and lots of prayer and non-stop lobbying of relatives, friends, clergy, our leaders, the media, a passerby, a cashier - ANYONE who you feel comfortable chatting with.

Folks always want to know how can this be in America or on earth for that matter? Unfortunately, this is really happening to an innocent woman who just celebrated her 41st birthday. She's not the only one but she's the one with devoted parents and siblings who knows what's in Terri's heart. Terri has a strong will to live. That's apparent. It's been 14 years.

Besides, feeding tubes have been around practically since the Civil War. They are not high tech devices. Terri is "not hooked up to machines". Her feeding tube is the diameter of a piece of spaghetti.

Talkin' about Terri is the best way to lobby for her. It is a salespitch to save her life and subsequently, many lives. If you've never sold anything in your life, START NOW. START WITH TERRI.

See Terri's flash movies if you need more information. You can see for yourself that's she's interactive and follows the doctor's instructions.

Visit: http://www.terrisfight.org

NOTE: Terri's December Dailies are noted as a source above. There are lots of important links at the very top of that thread. If you missed Terri's Celebration of Life, you can click on it from there.

AGAIN WE HAVE A NEW RECORD: 15,103 views on the tote board for the Terri Schindler Schiavo January Daily Thread!

The most significant event in Terri's case in January, was the Supreme's Courts refusal to hear Governor Jeb Bush's appeal, after the Florida State Legislature struck down Terri's Law. This once again places Terri's life in extreme jeopardy, though there are other issues regarding her case before the court.

Thank you for that info! Wonder what that silly newswoman Zahn will do with them? What does she really know about the case already? The poor parents, having to get through her nonsensical ignorance(most likely) at a time like THIS!

I looked up the news story on Alan Keyes' daughter. And also went to his site. I haven't been there for awhile.

He has two articles on Terri on it. If you could get him to come, that would guarantee news coverage, because of his daughter. Even better would be to get his daughter there too. This is something they both may be able to agree on.

They both say they love each other, but neither respects the other's lifestyle. They should both be able to agree that the Schindlers' love their daughter and don't want to see the state starve her to death.

I went to her web site. It seemed a little rambling to me, but it did have something on pro-life.

(please read the post that this is in reply to as well as the ones befroe that)
Jim R Wrote: Suit yourself, pal. Bye bye.

See Now Jim, it is comments like yours just now, that turn people off. I read your comments as really arrogant. What was the need for this? Things were all patched up we supporters of Terri Schiavo were given permission to post from he Empire Jouranal and then Wham this body slam by you.

When Terri's right to live is guaranteed, when the Schindlers have her back in their loving arms I can assure you that I will not be visiting Free Republic very often simply because of your comments which I read to be very arrogant, self serving and condescending. No one seems to have the courage to post back to you like I am, but what I will bet s 99.9% of the people are thinking the same thing I am. Terris Freepers watch my account, click on my name and see if I get Banned. If I do then I hope you speak up for me, just as I am having the courage to speak up and call Jim on a post that I think was unnecessary on his part.

Hear Hear Hear Yea! One of the best comments I have read in a long time;
Phen wrote: Please hear me out. This is not a lefty issue or a righty issue. This is a human rights issue. When we can all just drop our affiliations and do what's best for all, we'll get more done.

What is happening in Florida is that the state is presuming the posture of disposing of unwanted people as an authority. This offends every leaning from left to right and interrupts everyone's constitutionally guaranteed rights to life, liberty and pursuit of happiness.

Both sides of the political coin have everything to lose. While it may be fun to debate and argue on other matters, this one should be an absolute conduit for one and all. No one deserves this kind of treatment.

In my eyes, this is so not a political chip but one of human rights and the inherent rights to live ones own life. I don't mean to spit. I just think we can all agree on this one. That's all.

You are right on!!!!! Although I am conservative, I don't tow the Republican Party Line 100%. I ahve differences, they do not need discussion on Terris Thread, but Phen's point is well taken, there is at least 1 person who doesn't buy into "everything" that this Message Board espouses (is that the right word?)The right to not have Judicial Homicide against disabled peoples crosses idealogical and party boundaries. It IS A HUMAN RIGHTS ISSUE (sorry for the caps, which I rarely use) and peoples of all political persuasions should be interested in Human Rights and feel welcome and encourage to particiapte in Justice for Terri on Free Republic, on these Terri threads.
Off my soap box but I just couldn't resist backing up Phen very strongly.

We all thought everything was ok, it was posted that you said it would be acceptable to post articles from Empire Journal.

I asked her would she please reconsider letting us post her articles since you had said that, it was basically saying that the statement that was first made to her was wrong. She had said ok but I don't guess you read that far on the thread.

Today may be the last day of activism we have to try and stop the starvation of Terri. But if she goes she won't be the last and I would like to ask if someone made a complaint about her. We have long thought that Michael Schiavo and George Felos keep an eye on what's said here.

Is Scoop1 temporarily suspended or completely banned?

Not likely. I find you to be a whiner. You find Jim's comment of "Suit yourself" to be arrogant? And now you're worried he'll ban you?!? Goodness gracious, you don't know JimRob at all.

Leave if you want. I sure won't miss you.

Stay if you want. I won't be eagerly awaiting your insight.

I also wonder why Judge Greer is helping Michael murder Terri. Is he revengeful, too? And stubborn? Or it some kind of ego thing?

I have some friends who are lawyers. And they state that the judiciary is actually the most political branch of government. The judge might have some kind of fervent right-to-die belief and is misapplying it here despite the laws. Usually that is the case when the decision is so out of line with the facts and the law.

And it wouldn't be the first time in Florida that judges put their beliefs and politics ahead of clearly-written law - except this time, what is at stake is not an election but a helpless woman's life.

Florida statutes include a feeding tube as life prolonging procedure thanks to Jim King. This may have been a self serving inclusion since we know that at least one of his parents had cancer.

The patient must meet the Statute definition of pvs. Greer used Dr Cranford's definition of pvs and not the state statute definition.

Euthanasia is illegal in Florida and it is a felony to deny food, water, and necessary care to an elderly or disabled person.

So you tell me if we don't have a direct conflict in our statutes.

Unfortunately, if Judge Greer finds the testimony of Michael's sister-in-law on that subject to be "clear and compelling evidence", no appeals court is allowed to question his judgement.

Yes, and that's why the whole legal system is flawed. Appeals courts are worthless when in comes to correcting errors in the original trial transcript. The Bible warns about failed legal systems in the future.
