More and more good folks are finding out about Terri and that judicial tyranny would take her life, but for lots and lots of prayer and non-stop lobbying of relatives, friends, clergy, our leaders, the media, a passerby, a cashier - ANYONE who you feel comfortable chatting with.
Folks always want to know how can this be in America or on earth for that matter? Unfortunately, this is really happening to an innocent woman who just celebrated her 41st birthday. She's not the only one but she's the one with devoted parents and siblings who knows what's in Terri's heart. Terri has a strong will to live. That's apparent. It's been 14 years.
Besides, feeding tubes have been around practically since the Civil War. They are not high tech devices. Terri is "not hooked up to machines". Her feeding tube is the diameter of a piece of spaghetti.
Talkin' about Terri is the best way to lobby for her. It is a salespitch to save her life and subsequently, many lives. If you've never sold anything in your life, START NOW. START WITH TERRI.

The most significant event in Terri's case in January, was the Supreme's Courts refusal to hear Governor Jeb Bush's appeal, after the Florida State Legislature struck down Terri's Law. This once again places Terri's life in extreme jeopardy, though there are other issues regarding her case before the court.
One thing Greta does is play the videos of Terri in the background. The videos have helped to change a lot of minds out there. Anyone can see she is not a vegetable.

It's scary that they can turn a blind eye and a deaf ear to Terri. I keep hoping that Jeb will come charging in on his white horse at the last minute. It makes you wonder what they really believe.
I lost all my respect for Alan Keyes because of Terri. If he really believed in stopping morally corrupt laws, he would be standing next to Randall Terry.
Exactly. Jeff Feiger sounds like an idiot saying, "she's brain-dead, she's brain-dead", when people can look at the screen and see for themselves she isn't.
I would hope FReepers who are with you in spirit would count for something. We ARE Free Republic; we just don't run it. I absolutely agree the issue is TERRI.

Monica Crawley's sister is married to Alan Colmes. I saw msnbc. They mentioned a blog named: anchoress.blogspot.com which is PRO-TERRI. But, msnbc called this "assisted suicide". IT ISN'T BECAUSE THAT'S ILLEGAL IN FLORIDA AND SO IS EUTHANASIA. Why can't they just call it STARVING SOMEONE? That's what it is, not assisted anything.
If I had that kind of experience which includes a solid legal background, I'd not want to be here either being temporarily displaced to the blog section.
But, I'm just a freeper who's looking forward to picketing Michael's house.

They don't: Bush II has no authority at all over such state matters as euthanasia or capital punishment for that matter. Governor Bush has a weak constitutional office: the real power in this case is with the civil circuit judge. Terri picked the world's worst husband and worst judge too, and the doors are rapidly closing on her.
Since it looks like ABC ACTION NEWS is covering Terri the best, when I have a minute tomorrow, I'm going to email them a thank you for putting the press conferences on their evening news broadcasts. I haven't seen anything on the other local network affiliates today.
But Jim Robinson himself said it's ok to post, that in itself is saying that the admin was wrong. Please! FR gets the most exposure of any forum I know (I wouldn't even consider DU since they're mostly for killing Terri it would be pointless).
