More and more good folks are finding out about Terri and that judicial tyranny would take her life, but for lots and lots of prayer and non-stop lobbying of relatives, friends, clergy, our leaders, the media, a passerby, a cashier - ANYONE who you feel comfortable chatting with.
Folks always want to know how can this be in America or on earth for that matter? Unfortunately, this is really happening to an innocent woman who just celebrated her 41st birthday. She's not the only one but she's the one with devoted parents and siblings who knows what's in Terri's heart. Terri has a strong will to live. That's apparent. It's been 14 years.
Besides, feeding tubes have been around practically since the Civil War. They are not high tech devices. Terri is "not hooked up to machines". Her feeding tube is the diameter of a piece of spaghetti.
Talkin' about Terri is the best way to lobby for her. It is a salespitch to save her life and subsequently, many lives. If you've never sold anything in your life, START NOW. START WITH TERRI.

AGAIN WE HAVE A NEW RECORD: 15,103 views on the tote board for the Terri Schindler Schiavo January Daily Thread!
The most significant event in Terri's case in January, was the Supreme's Courts refusal to hear Governor Jeb Bush's appeal, after the Florida State Legislature struck down Terri's Law. This once again places Terri's life in extreme jeopardy, though there are other issues regarding her case before the court.

I remember all this. I'm glad you posted it and that Terri's organization has put out a new press release on this information.

TEJ has been tracking the office of George Greer which has bookmarked The Empire Journal and is visiting it regularly. Other visitors include the Department of Justice; Florida Health and Rehabilitative Services, THE IRS!!!! Florida AG's office and other agencies which should be involved in the Schiavo case----also the Florida Legislature. Your calls and emails are obviously working. Keep it up.
My Reply: Hot Damn! I don't think I'll get reported for one little curse word (fingers crossed). What is that Florida Health and Rehabilitative Sevices Deaprtment? Is that the Department that basically has failed to follow up on investigations?
Sent my e-mail to Jeb Bush tonight telling him that the French are Appalled at what is happening in Florida to Terri. of course I don't think he gives 2 hoots about "The French" but it is nice for him to know that there is international attention on what happens to Terri. As for the IRS that could just be some IRS employee using a work computer to cruise aroudn the internet on a break.
Good work, thanks for letting us know. Yor post is waht motivated me to send my e-mail. I have sent probably hundreds over the last 2 years, but knowing that the governors office is reading this stuff, heck I sent another one.
Now why, oh why, can't the Advocacy Center, the only Fedrally appointed agency in Florida who has the rights to see sealed court records (like the money) finish up their investigation which they started in October of 2003???? I have tried 3 times now, even writing to Board memebers and they give no information about the stauts of their "Open Investigation" Geeze Louise, it has been a year and ahalf already why can't we get a Federally Charted Agency to give an update. The investigation is 10% complete, 50% complete. Anything any type of update. Now there seems to me to be an agency that is stonewalling, or like that other Florida department, failing to investigate. they stted on their won website that they ahve an open investigation but now that notice has disappeared form their website. If I go to my old posts I can pull up the URL and the page will come up. They jsut no longer have a link to it on their News Page. i wish how I wish someone in Florida or whereever could make those people say something on the record. Vent over!!

Good rant! It's important to get it out every now and then! Mostly we just utilize that energy towards more work on behalf of Terri, but every now and again it comes bursting out!

jsut a FYI I have a small hand disability that causes me to transpose letters when I type. The good hand goes faster than the bad hand. I get so tired of spell checker becuase I always have so many corrections that if I am tired I jsut let 'er fly. Don't want you to think I am incompetent, Just a couple fingers on my right hand are semi paralyzed and it messes with my typing. [red faced]
Is this Jim's policy or the moderator's policy?
Terri's life is at stake. I hope it is not Jim's policy.

I've been trying for a couple hours to get that list of blogs to print out on my profile page. No luck.
