Hollywood knew that Moore’s made-up film was intended to maim the Republican president’s reelection during the 2004 campaign. Moore’s crude, unethical weapon failed; Bush won, and Hollywood promptly distanced itself from Moore.

Yet there are some characters out there who will claim that if not for Moore and his Hollywood ilk, Kerry would have done worse. One even said on O'Reilly that Hollywood actually helped Kerry to get as close as he did! (Conveniently 'forgetting' the fact that most of Hollywood said, after seeing "Fahrenheit 9-11," that there was NO WAY Bush could possibly win now).

As for liberals and taxes, I still have yet to hear a good, logical answer as to why they just don't return their tax refund back to the government if they disdain it so much.

Obviously, all that union-subsidized free medical care did NOT include treatment for morbid obesity.

And that is the 'Fat F--- From Flint', aka 'The 4F Kid', FYI.

Precisely!

I particularly enjoyed this quote,

I can’t buy into this thing of Michael Moore is on your side – it’s like trying to believe that Justin Timberlake is a soulful guy. It’s a media product: he’s just selling me something. For the preservation of my own soul I have to consider him just an entertainer, because otherwise he’s a huge a--hole. If you consider him an entertainer, then his acting like a selfish, self-absorbed, pouty, deeply conflicted, easily wounded child is run-of-the-mill, standard behavior. But if he’s a political force, then he’s a jerk and a hypocrite and he didn’t treat us right and he was false in all his dealings.

That's Michael Moore, in a nutshell.

This is a pretty comprehensive portrait of the Marxist hypocrite but I'm confused. Where do the 40,000 cheeseburgers fit in?

Moore could have been arrested in his beloved Canada because while promoting his movie in Toronto in June 2004, he urged Canadians to vote against the conservative candidate for Prime Minister. It is a crime in Canada for foreigners to “during an election period, in any way induce electors to vote or refrain from voting…for a particular candidate.

Is that true?

If so, then it appears as if your elections laws are even more onerous than those of the United States

Even after that unconstitutional desecration, the McCain-Feingold Campaign Finance Reform Act, was signed into law.

This time line on Moore is very interesting but there is an important segment missing. That is Moore's connection with the Flint auto worker activists in the 1980's and that is the "real" MICHAELGATE.
Moore has made a career out of distorting the facts and character assassination of his enemies. It is common knowledge that he has manipulated the truth whenever necessary. That has all been said.
It is also true that when you have someone with the influence that Moore has on our culture ,and he is becoming more popular ,it bears taking a very in depth look at where he "really" came from.
Are there skeletons in Moore's closet?
Is he the genius he claims to be and the "original" Don Quixote of the "working class" or is it one of the biggest scams ever pulled?
Has there been a... MICHAELGATE... pulled off under the nose of the entire world? Is there much more to the story?
Have you seen The Flint Westfall Papers at

Is Michael Moore really a closet Republican, the GOP’s most cunning secret agent?

Michael Moore=Karl Rove in a fat fat suit! The Perfect Rovian Storm strikes again!!!

Think about it: Have we ever seen Karl Rove and Michael Moore in the same room?

Did that Michael amd Me movie ever get finished? I did a search on IMDB but maybe the name was changed.

I saw these guys on the Daily Show getting made fun of by those ultra-Maxist commentators who interviewed the guy saying he couldn't get an interview with MM but the commentator had MM show up on other clips.

Did the movie maybe become Farenhype?

The late Pauline Kael wrote the definitive review of the fraudulent Roger & Me.

Her scathing dissection of that film's inherent flaws-the most prominent of which was its reliance on doctored footage-will stand out in relief for future reference, when new film historians examine how the discredited Mr. Moore was able to manipulate a large subsection of the American filmgoing public.

Moore can make picayune criticisms of Paul Berman all he wants-and I'll be the first to admit that some of Berman's obnoxiously leftist, doctrinaire political opinions rub me the wrong way-but that will not detract from Mr. Berman's reputation as either a scholar or a writer.

If nothing else, the man is a true intellect, unlike the vagabond who issues denunciations of him from the safety of his dacha on Lake Michigan.

When Lou Dobbs of CNN pressed about his inaccuracies in one book, Moore dismissed Dobbs’ questions by saying: “You know, look, this is a book of political humor…How can there be inaccuracy in comedy?” To deflect another questioner, Moore declared ambiguously that Roger & Me was not a documentary but “an entertaining movie, like Sophie’s Choice.”

Yes, that heartrending drama based upon a William Styron novel dealing explicitly with the human tragedy of the Holocaust certainly was "entertaining", wasn't it?

Sheesh!

Can you believe this scumbag?

Things you won't see on Michael Moore's website because he's a fat coward:

Michael Moore: Dems Are 'Wimps and Losers'

Disgruntled conspiracy filmmaker Michael Moore blasted the Democratic Party on Thursday, saying its field of candidates for 2008 consists of "a lot of wimps and losers."

"The Democrats are going to have a very hard time winning the next election," he told London's Channel Four. "The Republicans have a number of star players and the Democrats have a lot of wimps and losers."

Only last month Moore was calling Hillary Clinton a Democratic Party star who had a good chance of winning in 2008. But her widely reported move to the center has apparently turned him off.

Moore was particularly irked that so many Democrats, including Clinton, voted to confirm Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice this week.

"It was a disgusting sight and indicative of who the Democrats are," he told Channel Four. "They are lazy and they're cowards and I'm just hoping that the more they continue to act like that the more it will encourage Americans to run against them and put the US back in the hands of the working class, where it belongs."

Moore said the GOP is much more aggressive. "Bush and the Republicans have no shame and will resort to anything in order to win. The Democrats show up to a gun fight with a butter knife and thus they lose."

The radical movieman said he "prayed nightly" that Bush's "many scandals" would catch up to him and end his second term prematurely.

Asked if he would donate to the anti-war movement his income from "Fahrenheit 911," which reportedly topped $150 million at the box office, Moore pleaded poverty.

"I haven't seen a dime from this movie!" he told Channel Four.

Instead, said Moore, "I will promise you that I will donate as much of my time as I can in the coming months to see that the anti-Bush movement transforms itself into a massive anti-war movement so we can bring these troops home."

I have not seen the definitive review of Roger & Me by Pauline Kael so I cannot comment on her.
I will simply say that I worked in Flint for G.M. for 30 years and don't need a third person news commentator to tell me the story because I was there.
I saw first hand the TV and I heard the radio and these activist auto workers were in the news daily if not hourly for well over 10 tears and it is documented. Moore worked with them and turned on them and if their opinions are not represented then there is "NO" definitive review.
If there is truly a "MICHAELGATE" the public must decide for themselves so lets not close our ears to people that were on the cutting edge.
The people at westfallmike.tripod.com
were the people on the cutting edge and it is documented.
