When I pulled into the parking lot this morning, I saw a car covered with sacrilegious bumper stickers. It seemed obvious to me that the owner was craving attention. I’m sure he was also seeking to elicit anger from people of faith. The anger helps the atheist to justify his atheism. And, all too often, the atheist gets exactly what he is looking for.

Many Atheists have given up there denial of GOD, Homosexuals have given up there sinful lifestyles, many people who have not known GOD have been turned into Believers.
What makes a person believe in GOD? they meet him and spend the rest of there days trying to live life he has always wanted us to live.
I am far from being perfect and do I follow GOD's law daily NO I don't but I still strive in trying to.

Why on earth should that hurt you? Does it affect your beliefs? I doubt it.
Your expressions of frustration over this are overdrawn, I think. Leave it alone. That is my advice. Worship as you choose and leave others to their own devices.
As for your giggling at my downfall, I'm sorry, but that's the impression you give. Or, perhaps, not giggling, but waggling your finger and saying, "I told you so."
Jesus had advice for you. He told you that if someone wouldn't listen to your story, walk on and shake the dust from your feet. It's good advice. It's unseemly to harangue others with your faith. Just shake your head, and leave the poor atheists alone to our folly. I promise that we'll leave you alone to your beliefs, just as long as you don't insist that we believe the same way.

Well, if you two are of the mind that rude insults are not actionable, then you are simply advocating a social breakdown. It is not then of consequence where exactly blasphemy fits in the category of rude insults.
You do not understand whart freedom of speech is, or what rights the first Amendment protects. It is really off-topic here, but, again, censorship was a part of American system when there still was a constitution in effect, and so were local decency laws. Despite that, this country had real political debate and real culture, right till the liberals got they grubby hands on the courts.
You realize that St. Paul wrote his Letters before the Gospels were written?

Calling a decent person who can discuss issues calmly a "little pansy" is not in keeping with the teachings of the very Jesus you believe. Not at all.
Well Malakhi I have always valued your biblical knowledge and your straight forwardness in your responses, but I think your wrong in regards to Atheism.
Denying GOD is a person's personal Death Sentence.

You've said things like that several times on this thread. Do you think someone is holding you responsible for Mineral Man's choices? And regarding the choice issue again, if we take him at his word (and I do), study and contemplation led him to his lack of belief. I don't think that he is actively thumbing his nose at God.

My whole point of conversing with MM and the other Atheists on this thread is that they deny GOD out of a personal choice not because they have some solid proof that after a physical death the end up as a patch of dirt for eternity
As the person that believes, it is incumbent upon you to provide proof if you feel the need to convince someone. They aren't trying to convince you not to believe, so why do they have to give you proof that God doesn't exist? If they were attacking you and telling you that you were stupid and wrong, then yes, they should be able to tell you why. But they haven't done that.

Well, there is scholarship that suggests that, but there's also scholarship that suggests differently. The bottom line is that we will never know, since the actual originals have disappeared.
The Christian scriptural canon is a funny thing. Learning how the New Testament came to be what it is today is a fascinating study. Theories abound regarding the source material.
One thing that's for sure is that it's the product of a committee. I sure wish I could be a mouse in the corner as its structure and content was decided. There's so much we don't know.

Oh, not so, missyme. I have firm instructions that I am to be cremated upon my death and my ashes scattered at Morro Rock in Morro Bay, California. No insects for me, thanks. I'd rather annoy the fish when they chomp down on a flake of ash from my bones. They certainly caused me a lot of grief when I was trying to catch them for dinner.
If you feel that you are to do more, then pray for them. But, please, do not call them or anyone else names and insult them. Has it ever occured to you that perhaps, and I am not stating this as fact but only hypothetically, MineralMan or the other atheists here may have chosen to walk away in disbelief because of this very attitude that you are exuding? We can do so much harm to others with our words missyme. So much harm. Sometimes it is better to not speak and just pray.
Why are you so complacent in defending MM Atheism? Where in the Bible does GOD say to defend people who deny the highest authority of all? I truly feel bad personally that MM denies the Lord obviously many on this thread could care less about MM denial of GOD

I honestly believe that your intentions are good. I do. I believe that you DO care and that is why you are as passionate as you are. Sometimes when we are so passionate we can come across far differently than we hoped to. :o)
