It's great that your daughter has the opportunity to have animals in her life while she's young. I think being around animals and caring for them is good for children. As a child, I couldn't have any animals. As an adult, I haven't been without multiple animals in my life in many years.
That must be the one that is on sky sports at present as dad was channel hopping I noticed NFL live come up did not see who the teams were though
Thanks for typing up the recipe. Am I reading it correctly to imagine it as a sort of muffin with a crusty lower edge (from the oil), or does the oil get drawn up into the pudding? Is it good for soaking up gravy? What is the consistency / texture?
I am a New England fan from when I was old enough to know there was an NFL.
I always like the name "Patriots", I thought of them as Paul Revere characters and very noble.
We didn't eat Wendy's for our health, we ate it because it was cheap! I don't eat it anymore either . . .
When I was pregnant with our son I craved Big Macs from Mc.Donalds. Since I had horrible morning sickness and was losing weight, the dr. said to eat whatever I wanted so many big macs it was . . . guess what? Now I can't stand the thought of them! Haven't had one for 13+ years. UGH.

So not only am I stuck with fish stew, but I have to stay in cold, snowy Canada.
Gee, with the fish stew, cold and snow, I sound like an Eskimo.
I ate Wendy's because it was cheap too, but once I was able to subsist on something a bit more nutritional, I went for it!

They have a great market...lots of Mennonites in that area.
My parents always let us have animals of various kinds--rabbits, goats, my sister had geese, many pigs, etc., etc., etc. It was always a great experience to have the responsibility of caring for them, and of course life-lessons of birth and death. I always wanted my kids to have that experience and I think our daughter might someday have a career with animals, whether owning a pet shop, a vet, or zookeeper or dolphin trainer.
I feel bad for parents who won't let their kids have pets--one of my daughter's friends doesn't have any pets and just loves it at our house--always excited to help feed and pet them. And they all seem to know she's unfamiliar with animals so are friendly and gentle with her.

I've never had fish stew. What kinds of fish go well in it? Is it kind of like a beef or chicken stew as far as the other ingredients? Thick or thin sauce?
So can you stand the thought of those greasy patties anymore? I do have to say their salads are yummy--many of the fast food places have salads now and for the most part are of good quality--guess they're thinking of the moms who drive thru with their little kids all the time.
Twice recently I've heard a Fox News announcer or reporter welcome Canadian viewers to the Fox family. Do you know what happened to make Fox available (Finally!) to Canadians? It followed very shortly after W met with your PM.

So were you born in Canada, or moved there for school, marriage, etc? My sister met her husband in college in the US and they moved there after they graduated.
Things here in Iowa are allright, cold as usual. The wind is the worst, as I am sure you are aware, it seemed especially bitter today, not sure why.
Oh and I am majoring in Materials engineering. Nanotechnology and all that. I am particularly interested in electronics (quantum mechanics and such). We are a pretty small department. My class (junior) has around 50 people in it or so. Yeah, that Am. Indians guy definitely had an agenda, it was unbearable. And I have had some biased professors before. I was taking that class for my "diversity requirement". Ugggg, I should've known better I guess. I thought it would be interesting, silly me.
Heck, from the sound of it, I would love it at your house. :-)
I have to indulge about 5 times a year in a big, greasy burger. But when I'm choosing the meal around my house, it's going to be grilled fish and green veggies or something like that.
Being raised by medical nutritionists, you get accustomed to food like that and feel sick when you get too many processed foods.
