FBI Adds 10 Names to List in Boston Threat

By CURT ANDERSON, Associated Press Writer

WASHINGTON - The FBI (news - web sites) on Thursday added the names of 10 Chinese to the list of those being sought for questioning about a possible terror plot targeting Boston.

Two law enforcement officials, speaking on condition of anonymity because of the ongoing investigation, said the names were part of the same anonymous tip that led authorities on Wednesday to announce that they are seeking to question four other Chinese and two Iraqis.

The officials said the tip remains uncorroborated and there is no credible evidence that such a plot exists.

It was unclear why all the names were not announced at the same time. The officials said there was no new information that led to the addition of the 10 names.

A third federal law enforcement official in Washington, also speaking on condition of anonymity, said the tip was received Wednesday by the California Highway Patrol. The tipster claimed the four Chinese — two men and two women — entered the United States from Mexico and were awaiting a shipment of "nuclear oxide" that would follow them to Boston.

The official said the nuclear oxide could be a reference to material used to make a "dirty bomb" that would spew radiation over a wide area.

The "finger" of Afghanistan stretches east towards China and above northern Pakistan where there has been AQ activity for many years.

"Ironically, perhaps the greatest danger Howkins faced on the K2 attempt was merely safely getting out of Pakistan. While on the mountain, the political situation in that troubled region had turned deadly. American Ned Gillette (1998) was murdered in a nearby valley, and a U.S. cruise missile attack on Afghanistan had aroused Islamic militants.

"We learned two days into the trek that the political situation was worsening," Howkins said. "And by the time it was time to leave, our liason officer said that we should not identify ourselves as Americans because Bin Laden (the suspected terrorist leader) had put a £10,000 bounty on Americans." source

===

K2 is the highest peak in the Karakorum(sp) range and appears to be directly below the "end" of the Afghan "finger"

"The two most damaging and powerful enemies to the future of the United States of America are the Islamic jihad on her and the fact that she is now the victim herself of unprotected borders. "

Just couldn't bring yourself to say that the second enemy is Mexican immigrants could you? That's funny.

You pontificate about how crucial it is to discuss the issue ("not just allowed, it must be encouraged"), but when it comes right down to it your fingers just can't type M-e-x-i-c-a-n. Instead you substitute "unprotected borders".

See, you haven't totally been absorbed by the dark side yet. You still have a little sense of what the greatness of America is all about. Hang on to the light as long as you can.

Ethnic origins are not the issue.

The main issue is called survival of America as it has been known for the past 225 years.

"Ethnic origins are not the issue. "

That's the ONLY issue for Davis and Lamm. They come right out and say that they believe that Mexican immigrants will destroy America.

They don't pretend that it's only "illegal" immigrants and that it isn't just Mexicans but includes Swedes, Poles, Irish etc...

If you were really concerned about American security you would be discussing cargo container inspections and protecting nuclear power plants, not talking about punishing people for hiring Mexican nannies.

It's much bigger than Mexican nannies. Actually, they are excellent nannies - very loving, caring, gentle and kind.

Take notes.

>>when it comes right down to it your fingers just can't type M-e-x-i-c-a-n.<<

I don't want you to include me in the same sorry bunch as you have placed Happy2bme!

Mexican, or as they say in Mexico, Mexicano
mexican
Mexicano
mexicano

Tex-Mex, now this is a slang for Texans of Mexican descent. A few of my friends are Tex-Mex's. Funny thing is they look down on people they describe as "wetbacks". These are people whom by their definition who have entered the United States illegally by swimming across the Rio Grande River.

Let me amaaaaaze you. Watch this. I'll use them in a sentence!

Illegal aliens of Mexican descent, are criminals from Mexico who have broken laws under the US CODE TITLE 8, CHAPTER 12, SUBCHAPTER II, IMMIGRATION.

Then there's this 'nother whole discussion on the definition of Hispanics. Perhaps you would like to give us your thoughts on them.

Now, take note that I haven't belittled you, probably because I don't get my jollies off iin calling people names or being rude which must be a positive character trait in your mind because you do it continiously.

"The main issue is called survival of America as it has been known for the past 225 years."

And just how has it " been known for the past 225 years."?

Slavery? No electricity? No cars or planes? No fast food? No cell phones? No rap music?

Norman Rockwell is dead. Elvis is dead. Drive-in movies are gone. Eight track tape players aren't made anymore. Montgomery Wards has closed. You can't stop change by stopping immigrants.

Lamm and Davis are poster boys for Xenophobia. Most people would find them comical if it weren't for their destructive influence.

My little Italian wife cooks up the best chile rellenoes (sp), tacos and pork burritos that I have ever eaten. She grows some of the best HOT peppers on the planet and her salsa would make a fortune if I want to start another company up.

Chile rellenoes are my favorite if the skin is peeled.

Don't tell anyone but they are great for people on the atkins diet because the batter they are fried in is an egg batter instead of a flour batter. The only carbs are the ones in the pablamo pepper.

You're not being factual, bayourod, and we all know how important being factual is to you (per your many "Open borders is not a figure of speech" rants). You used the term "Mexican immigrants" in your comments. That's not being factual. The correct term is "Mexican illegal immigrants". Quit being a hypocrite.

I notice that you often try to soften the lawlessness of illegal immigration by referring to the illegal immigrants by using phrases like "Mexican gardeners" or "Mexican nannies" or "Mexican busboys". What does it matter what type of work illegal immigrants are doing while they're illegally in the United States? They're still illegal immigrants.
