My cat used to think that if he couldn't see the vet, she couldn't see him. He'd be on the examining table and she'd be ready to give him a shot or something, and he'd stick his head under my arm. He thought it made him invisible even though his 14 pounds of Siamese
tokhas was still hanging out in plain view. Every so often, he'd pull his head out, turn around, and hiss at her, then quickly run his head under my arm again.
She could usually get the needle in him before he figured out it was coming . . .
My dog on the other hand LOVES the vet and can't wait to see her. Go figure.

It looks like the parade is running past the hippies, and then walking when they pass a supporter crowd.
What's with the smoke stuff in the middle of the road? It's not tear gas, the SS just run right through it.

Just steam.
Any place you have older buildings, you'll have steam pipes under the street. They vent, and it comes up through the manholes.
I work on Capitol Hill in Georgia, and it looks like a horror movie around here on cold days. Most of the buildings date from the 50s or earlier, and they are still heated with steam.
