We're counting the days now until President Bush's second Inaugural this Thursday. Tickets are still available for the hottest Inaugural Ball in D.C. Come join us for the Free Republic W2 Inaugural Ball featuring Gov. Huckabee and his rock and roll band, Capitol Offense.
In addition to saluting President Bush and Vice President Cheney, the ball will pay tribute to the men and women serving in our armed forces.
Price of admission is $200 per person, $250 at the door.
Included in the admission price is a full course dinner, served buffet style with seating, open bar from 7 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., free coat check and reduced parking charge at the hotel.
Registration starts at 6:30 p.m. The ball starts at 7 p.m. The program begins at 8 p.m.
A rough outline of the program:

This is an evening you will not want to miss. Many of our friends in the conservative community will be attending the ball, as will many of your fellow FReepers. Hope to see you there!
Kristinn, I hope you have an overflow crowd, and that, as it was four years ago, the FRee Republic Inaugural Ball is the talk of WDC on FRiday.
Sorry I will not be able to attend. Y'all have fun, now, y'heanh?
Hi, I'm possibly going to get 2 adult tickets from some friends of mine, but before I accept them I need a child's ticket for my 8 (almost 9) year old daughter. What can I do to see if there are any children's tickets available?
We still have room for a few children. You're okay for that.
Oh, that's great!! Do I just get tickets at the door or order them online?
Getting ready to take the train now. See you all real soon.
Ordering on line would be best.
Bundle up!
Leaving with sister in law tomorrow-early-and 'so ready' for this event-all of it! HOORAH! Will be good to see you and all of the DC Chapter who are attending....what you guys do, amazes me! (But I am going to miss Luigis!!) I hope we don't have to make reservations for the dinner on the 19th...see ya tomorrow!
Enjoy the ball, General Stand! I can't wait to see the pictures.
J.C. Watts in '08!
BTW, I e-mailed a copy of my receipt to my e-mail box and it's not there. Will I need a receipt? I thought that I did. (spacey part time blonde moment here)
Just show up. If you know your order number you'll be okay.
I guess we'll just show up and hope for the best. Thanks.
Sigh. I'm sooo sorry that I can't make it this year. All day I've been peeking at the TV hoping to see Freepers and longing to be with you all. Enjoy the ball and give us lots and lots and lots of pictures!!
