This is in Washington D.C. There's a preponderance of suspicious activity throughout the city any time congress is in session....

Is these are foreign nationals or muslims, they should just mysteriously disappear. The CIA has 16,000 to 20,000 employees (
the real figure is secret), surely one of them could make these interesting muslims just sort of 'go away'.

did they stop them and question them?
You kidding? I could not get the FBI to question a couple from uruguay who admittedly PAID smugglers to get then in! Question them indeed! /Sarcasm

If they've seen so many, why haven't they grabbed one of two and gotten IDs, photos, etc?

I wish we could go back to the days of making fun of people taking pictures.
Now we have to worry about what their intentions really are. I hate it!!

Sounds ominous. Tourists do take pics, but I've not known them to take notes as well. Something's up.

Ditto.... I am sure one of the goals of these scumbags is to disrupt the inauguration in any way possible, even if it means drawing security services away from legitimate dangers in favor of their sick games.
But then, OTOH, maybe some of them will do the country a favor and resist arrest .....

Japanese tourists? ;-) LOL! I have seen Japanese tourists taking pictures of the light fixtures imbedded in the floor at the U.S.S Arizona memorial. I have also had some ask to take pictures of our oldest daughter when she was a baby.

It sounds like the letter to State Dept. has "not been deemed credible."
I sure hope it isn't.
