Kid Rock, the vulgar rock-rapper who initially had been lined up to headline the youth concert next week as part of the inauguration festivities for President Bush, will not be apppearing after all. "He's not performing," a spokesman for the Presidential Inauguration Committee confirmed for WND. No further information about the cancellation of Kid Rock was available at press time. Word that the rapper will not join JoJo and Hilary Duff as performers at the Jan. 18 concert, which will be hosted by Bush twins Barbara and Jenna, comes after WorldNetDaily and other outlets publicized the fact that the committee was planning to feature Kid Rock, which caused several pro-family organizations to ask their supporters to protest his appearance. Utter tripe; moralize somewhere else.
He chose his audience long ago, and it ain't conservatives.
Since when does the Christians have such a strong pull in this party, hell we can hardly count on there votes. Some republicans like Rock music and arent offended by a Cuss word. What a joke!
Sorry she's not hot, and no I'm not dead. Seriously she's just too annoying to be attractive kind of like that ditz weather girl / wannabe actress Jillian Barberie on Good Day LA.
Two wrongs make a right?
news to me
Not to mention, we always have had sexuality in music. If you don't believe me, check out a complete collection of Robert Burns's lyrics. For starters.

Don't forget Elvis the Pelvis
BTW--this is a great thread!!!!
Unfortunately for you, the mods here at FR agree with us Biblethumpers. I doubt you could repeat the lyrics to some KR songs at any venue.
Some people just need to grow up.
It's great stepping on liberal toes....
"Tweak a liberal today!" LOLOL!!
With each responding post I hear a loud "Squeak!!" LOL!! (Here, have a liberal rubber ducky for your bath tonight!! LOL)
Some here are saying that Republicans are losing the younger generation. Not so according to stats. The younger generation is apparently rebelling against their Baby Boomer parents. More people of the younger generation are prolife than even amongst their Baby Boomer parents - it's GREAT stuff!!!
Celebrate LIFE! :o) :o) Down with LEWDNESS! :o)
Agreed. But they don't see it that way.
"Would you like to explain that? Ok...Breaking the law and murdering people is not ok- anywhere. How is that? Now do you understand the point?"
My "Rick Santorum in the bedroom" reference was re: his stance about some sodomy law in Texas that he supported. The only way to monitor the sexual activities of consenting adults is to monitor their bedrooms, which Santorum was for.
The rest of your post made no sense, in the context of our responses to each other, sorry.
They have to keep telling themselves that.
They forget it works the other way, too; without us, they've literally got nowhere to go.
That's a despicable distortion of context.
I'll make a permanant note of your intellectual dishonesty and DU-like innuendo.
I think maybe you are confused. I am certainly not happy that they got KR kicked off, if indeed that actually has happened.
