Former Clinton White House Mr. Fix-It Bruce Lindsey emerged tight-lipped yesterday after testifying before a federal grand jury probing whether top-secret documents were illegally removed from the National Archives.The grand jury probe, reported exclusively in The Post Tuesday, is digging into why another former Bill Clinton aide, Sandy Berger, sneaked the national security documents out of the Archives — possibly in his socks.
Lindsey denied any inside knowledge about Berger's sticky fingers.
"All I know is what he [Berger] said. He made a public statement," said Lindsey, Clinton's deputy White House counsel, after testifying under oath yesterday.
Berger admits walking off with 40 to 50 top-secret documents from the archives, but claims it was an "honest mistake" while vetting documents for the 9/11 commission.
Berger has admitted destroying some documents — he says by mistake.
Lindsey declined comment on what he told the grand jury, but denied reports that he met with Berger in New York for crisis control as the scandal erupted last summer.

Among the documents Berger lifted were multiple drafts of a report assessing the 2000 millennium threat that is said to conclude that only luck prevented a terrorist attack then.
That conflicts with Berger's sworn testimony to the commission — he claimed "we thwarted" millennium attacks by being vigilant, not lucky.

I still can't find a photocopy of the memo, but the scata had hit the fan by November 5th. That's the date that Rockefeller claimed on national television that he hadn't ordered the memo's creation.

IS it possible he was getting paid as a agent of another country? GOt cuaght twice....How many other times did he do it and not get caught?......Maybe he was being blackmailed to deliver information?
I'm saving this for the time (and it will come) when Rockefeller claims that higherups are not taking responsibility and being held accountable.

I wonder if the archivists were in the habit of breaking rules for people, or if this was a special case. And if so, why? That might tell us a lot. Especially since I'm still wondering who blew the whistle at the archives, the people in charge or the underlings?

Page 339 of the Senate Intelligence Committee Report states that there are provacative links between Iraq and the first WTC attack in 1993 and the 9/11 attacks.

Clinton never visited the WTC after the attack and was content to let Americans think it was an AQ operation because he knew he'd have hard time finding them and going after them.
If people knew that Iraq was behind the attack, which it was based on books I've read, Clinton would have had to go to war.
I agree Miss M. Berglur cannot say one sentence without using AH every 3rd word. He drives me crazy. On time I listened to him answer questions and he said AH 201 times. I was nutz when he finally left.
I do hope this investigation is the one that gets that whole corrupt administration. We will live with their treachery for many, many years. I'm afraid my boys will be putting up with some of the dangers this group has put America into.
However .. while I agree with your assessment .. the downfall of CBS proves the "MSM" no longer exists. Their monoply is over - and while they may try to hide the Burgler - the internet will be buzzing with the truth and I'm quite sure FOX will be leading the way in exposing his antics .. just like they exposed the UN when nobody else would even talk about it.
