"AS FR has previously Noted; Mr Hume is the MOST CREDIBLE SOURCE of "News" on TV--BAR NONE!!"
Thanks. . .I had forgotten about the award. . .
As for his sources. . .well, we know for sure where his 'nose for the news' takes him . . .
Thanks to Brit, for remembering his friends. . .

Hey Brit, just in case you or a member of your staff are reading this, I am so curious.
How do you refrain from choking Juan every Sunday morning, (or whenever you tape that show, Fox News Sunday?) Instead, you cooly toy with him with that smirk on your face, which I am sure drives Juan further insane(er). As you say, Juan, Juan, Juan.......... :-)

We were also the first regarding President Bush's Thanksgiving Visit in Iraq two years ago from a freeper stationed there.

Now we will have a thread about who deserves credit for the email that caught Brit's attention. It is possible that Hinderaker himself asked Brit to credit Free Republic for being the first on-line site to question the reliability of the NG report on Pres Bush. Also, wasn't the main investigator a FR lawyer in Atlanta who doesn't seem concerned about not being singled out for credit in his role? Thanks to Brit for responding to viewers concerns. This is why FOX is number one.

It was great to hear it.
Said something about those on FreeRepublic who uncovered the forgeries within minutes of their release onto the web.

I give credit to Brit Hume though. Yesterday he had a guest and FreeRepublic wasn't mentioned. At least Hume is conscious that others were part of the great unmasking of CBS.

checked your about page, including the link.
You mean to say that you bought a decommissioned missle silo? A MISSLE SILO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Excuse me, but that's way cool.
I have a cousin who runs what I understand to be the only certified exotic car service place (Ferrari, Masseriti, etc.) in Montana, or at least it was in the mid 90s when I was told about it. Sounds like you and he might have something in commmon. ;^>
On point, I'm going to try to listen to the repeat of the show tonight to hear what was said. Did you ever see the Kurosawa movie Rashoman?

You know what I read today? That Mary Mapes HAD the proof in her hands that Bush had, in fact, asked to go to Vietnam, but other more experienced pilots were sent, but she just completely ignored it! They say it's in that report. That and she was fully aware that there was no waiting list. Mapes said she just assumed then that this particular unit was there specifically for the privileged so they could avoid waiting lists in other units. No evidence, just her theory.

Monday nite on ABC's Nightline (11:30 PM), posts from FR were shown briefly on the screen. This was in connection with the blogs that publicized the Rathergate fiasco. It didn't identify it as being from FR, but it was our format. The camera focused on a short post with all the FR incidentals surrounding it, with a smidgeon of the board above and below.
