Looks like 'ol 'Long Jaw(n)' is following the
Jesse Jackass/Rumsey Clark/Dan RATner template. Kerry loves to deal with the enemy.
...13-year-old Mustafa al-Nabulsi approached him with a drawing of the senator as a soldier in his Vietnam days.
Yeah... they still love him at that war museum in Hanoi too. I guess he's a soldier... 'winter soldier'.

Madame Binh, Daniel Ortega, Bashar Assad... just a few more creepy characters to go before JF-in'K supplants Jimmy Carter as America's favorite unauthorized ambassador to totalitarian regimes.

Should Read
DAMASCUS -- Former Failed & Disgraced Democratic presidential candidate John F. Kerry met yesterday with Syria's president and the senator said he hoped that strained US-Syrian relations could improve, provided Washington DAMASCUS seized ''a moment of opportunity" available in the Mideast.

History repeats... Why is John Kerry ALWAYS so enamored of the enemy?
It has been stated that many of the insurgents in Iraq come from Syria.

Personnally I'd prefer to see some of the old-fashioned tools of American diplomacy applied to Syria (and France too):
" ...The American Counsel in Tripoli, William Eaton, correctly gauged French complicity with the Dey of Tripoli.
After publicly flogging the French Ambassador, Eaton departed for the desert where he joined Lt. O'Bannon's Marines detached from the U.S. fleet. "

Kerry is trying to set a base for his run in 08. When we win the war in Iraq, Kerry will say it was his visit to Syria and other Mideast places he will visit that done the job, and the MSM will stick to it like flies on honey.....

"BOWLING GREEN, Ohio, Aug. 1 -- John F. Kerry pledged Sunday he would substantially reduce U.S. troop strength in Iraq by the end of his first term in office but declined to offer any details of what he said is his plan to attract significantly more allied military and financial support there. "
Will he be revealing the secret plan to the US or just sharing with Syria?

It might be that he thinks he's having coffee in Cambodia?
I can't wait for the special stories of his travels to start flowing........Did his hosts arrange any recreation, like killing women and children, killing livestock, and burning villages to the ground? And the ever popular shooting boys in loin cloth's in the back?
