"No (Middle East) peace can transpire with (Jewish) settlements and the wall," Abbas said
Mr. Abbas, we get it. We really do. You don't want peace.

"Abbas: There will be no peace until Israel tears down separation fence"
...and dissolves the state of Israel. He left that part out.

"Heavy security was draped around Abbas because of feared threats from militants opposed to peacemaking."Those opposed to Abbas making peace really have nothing to worry about.

The only thing I would like to see Israel do is install big gun turrets on that wall and keep 'em smoking. (Well, that's not ALL I would like to see them do, but I don't want to get banned, so I will just leave it at that.)

Ummmm.
If I remember correctly, there sure wasn't a whole lot of "peace" going on before the fence started going up...

"We tell our neighbors: 'No matter how many settlements, walls or obstacles you build, it will not bring you security or peace," Abbas said. It should be assumed that this is a threat.

No sir. There can be no peace as long as you harbor villains who use children and the mentally challenged to strap bombs on themselves to commit homicide in the name of "Allah".

Yeah, tear down the wall so they can destroy you better. Their idea of 'peace' is having the Jews exterminated or enslaved.

PLO chief Mahmoud Abbas said on Wednesday there would be no peace until Israel tore [the fence]
down. Clearest evidence yet that the fence is effective.

"No (Middle East) peace can transpire with (Jewish) settlements and the wall," Abbas said with his back to the separation fence around Qalqilyah near the West Bank's boundary with Israel." Translation: "Unless you make it easier for us to kill you and your children on a daily basis, there will never be peace".
Just because the Arab Islamofacists are uneducated idiots, doesnt mean the rest of the world should be.

Abbas, you look old enough to have been born before Israel started putting up the wall. Therefore you lying sack of sh*t, you are fully aware that there was no peace before the wall was built.
If you Palestinians really want peace, all you have to do is begin doing unto the Israeli's as you would have them do unto you.
Is that too complicated for you to understand, Mr. Abscess?

He was also at the meeting with Bush when the peace process was laid out under the Bush Administration.
He already knows that the "right of return" is a non-starter.
I know there are a lot of American Jews and Israelis that aren't fans of Sharon, but I give him credit for 2 things. Building the fence over the objections of the world (UN), and at least taking the first step in Bush's plan, by unilaterally offering the Gaza strip. All he and Bush wants from the Palestinians right now is to denounce terrorism and THEY CAN'T DO IT!!!!
Enough said!!!

Ah, the old Ararfat negotiating strategery! Keep putting key demands as preconditions to negotiations and keep changing/adding preconditions as circumstances change. Thus, there are always blocks to negotiations. It was what made ole rag head so effective and why he accomplished so mush, including partial ownership of a bowlng alley, every Palestinians' dream!
