YAHOO HOSTED SITE ADVOCATES MORE INSURGENT VIOLENCE IN IRAQ
Supporters of Radical British Islamic Cleric Abu Hamza Apparently Promoting Jihad from UK
The intent is unmistakable and ominous.
A picture on the Yahoo/Geocities ( http://www.wired.com/news/business/0,1367,17595,00.html ) hosted Internet site shows a masked insurgent pointing a gun at an Iraqi security officer.
The words read, "Ansar Sunnah Iraq... and fight them."
Web Site Graphic
A link to another website, http://www.geocities.com/and_fight_them/ was listed as "currently unavailable for viewing" at time of writing.
However, a 20-segment video is still available for download at http://www.geocities.com/shareeah_org/video_as.htm
An e-mail requesting comment and sent to the address given on the site, soswrite@hotmail.com , was not immediately answered. There was no immediate response, either, to a request for comment sent to Yahoo.
Among other images, the segments contain footage of insurgents apparently being instructed how to use what appear to be rocket propelled grenade launchers (RPG's) ( http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/pages/frontline/shows/ambush/weapons/rpg.html ). While some of the training sessions are outside, one is inside where a black masked instructor is talking to three other men in a room filled with weapons.
From the On Line Video
The videos also show the insurgents placing the apparent RPG's in hidden roadside locations as they target military convoys.
In a Dec. 2004 Associated Press (AP) story, ( http://www.contracostatimes.com/mld/cctimes/news/10501553.htm?1c ) the Ansar Sunnah Army was described as "one of Iraq's deadliest terror networks, capable of carrying out spectacular strikes like last week's suicide bombing at a U.S. base and virtually eclipsing al-Qaida's cell in the war-torn country. Unlike al-Qaida, Ansar Sunnah is believed to be made up mainly of Iraqis, and its apparent strategy of targeting only Americans and those viewed as collaborating with them -- Iraqi security forces and Kurds -- may have increased their support ..."
However, this apparent Ansar Sunnah Army page is located on a site identified as being an Internet home of jailed radical Islamic cleric Abu Hamza's organization "Supporters of Shareeah" (SOS). Hamza is in a London jail facing a number of charges of inciting the murder of non-Muslims.
British freelance investigator Glen Jenvey helped bring about Hamza's downfall. As reported on http://www.islamic-news.co.uk , "A cache of secret video and audiotapes was given (to Jenvey by Hamza) ... who infiltrated his group based at the Finsbury Park mosque in London, by setting up a fake web site for al Qaida supporters.
Extracts of these tapes are available at http://johnathangaltfilms.com/movie.html
In an e-mail interview Jenvey said he believes that Hamza is a more important figure in al Qaeda than has previously been thought and the site "misuses freedom of speech to incite (acts of) terror ... over the Internet."
He added, "The government is failing its subjects by allowing such things at a time when the country is at war with these terrorists. Would Hitler have been allowed a radio and TV network in the second world war?"
There is no clearly apparent link from http://www.geocities.com/shareeah_org to http://www.geocities.com/shareeah_org/video_as.htm , neither could any link be found from another SOS website, http://www.shareeah.org
The Yahoo/Geocities Website of Hamza's Supporters of Shareeah
Also available for download on the site ( http://www.geocities.com/shareeah_org/SOSpress.pdf ) is an "official" undated statement (but released prior to June 6 2004) from Hamza's organization regarding his arrest by British authorities.
Commenting about what he calls Hamza's "shameful, heavy-handed arrest," the writer says that he is "arrested and threatened with execution for merely highlighting war crimes such as those we have all witnessed in Rafah, only this week, where US-supplied weaponry was used by the army of Satan on civilians. The child-murdered Ariel Sharon, an acknowledged war criminal is given carte blanche for his holocaust, yet those who expose these evil and filthy actions are the ones who are considered worthy of chastisement."
The statement from Hamza's organization then protests what the writer calls the United Kingdom's "slavish and shameful prostration to the United States."
The SOS writer also lampoons the United States as being the united "snakes" of America and calls the US Embassy in Britain "the new seat of the British government."
The statement also derides former U.S. Attorney General John Ashscroft as being the "fanatical evangelical Christian Zionist attorney general of the United snakes," calls Vice President Dick Cheney "a peddler of death and destruction" and President George W. Bush an "orifice of democracy."
Hamza, the Guardian newspaper reported ( http://www.guardian.co.uk/uk_news/story/0,3604,1383397,00.html ) claims he lost both hands and an eye clearing landmines in Afghanistan. He faces 10 charges of encouraging people to murder non-Muslims, four of which relate specifically to Jews. He is also charged with four counts of using threatening or abusive behavior to stir up racial hatred under the 1986 British Public Order Act, and of planning to distribute video and audio tapes designed to stir up racial hatred.
Another charge, the Guardian reported, accuses him of having a document likely to be of use to terrorists.
Hamza was born in Egypt. He moved to the United Kingdom in 1979 where he married a British citizen. He was banned from Finsbury Park mosque, but continued to preach outside it every Friday until he was arrested in May 2004 ( http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/london/3752257.stm ). His followers were allowed back inside in Sept.2004 the Guardian reported.
Extradition proceedings to the United States, where Hamza is wanted on other matters, have been postponed until the British court case is over.

this is just f*cked up.! ...
can most of agree that something is imminent? There's a plan flowing with them that hasnt been executed yet. Italy for example i thought was on the verge after about 5 msgs to bersculoni and company, and 6 months ago after the 3 month truce with europe was up.. Strange they they are taking so much time if they arent all talk? or could they seriously just be multiplying and sharpening their skills?
the sad thing about this, is that there were treaty';s issued to everyone involved i believe.. Some ppl took their interests out of Iraq, and were 'spared' like Spain right? Thats a fact correct? Plus, there has been a LOT of time now.. like f*ck time is not on our side here IMO, I hope it is, clear day today but i dont know what tomorrow is gonna bring.
look if osama and crew were holding a gun to me head and saying do this or else, i'd be like 'ok dude' because i dont think we understand the depth of intention with this next (possible) strike. Some of their f*cked demands havent been out of this world, but this cant be blamed on Bush, this has been a loooong time coming correct? like early 80's or so, after Russia? I am totally ramblign, drank too much but i'm around talk to you.

15 Illegal South Korean Immigrants and Suspected Smuggler Arrested on New York-Bound Train (1/24/05)
The Associated Press Published: Jan 24, 2005
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) - Fifteen illegal immigrants from South Korea and the man accused of smuggling them into the United States were arrested on a New York-bound Amtrak train, federal officials said Monday.
The men and the alleged smuggler, 27-year-old Pyung Seop Lee, were arrested Thursday at the train station in Albuquerque, according to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials. Lee also is believed to be in the country illegally, officials said.
They were discovered after investigators with the Drug Enforcement Administration noticed their reservations on the train's manifest, according to the criminal complaint against Lee, who is charged with transporting or attempting to transport the group within the United States.
When agents intercepted the New York-bound train, Lee told them the group was part of a tour, officials said.
Two of the men told investigators they flew from Korea Dec. 21 to Canada, then were driven across the U.S.-Canada border to Los Angeles. After about a month stashed in a house there, they said Lee instructed the group to meet at an Amtrak station, where they boarded the train.
It was not immediately clear Monday whether Lee had an attorney.
