MSNBC just reported it has something to do with a Nannygate ... Huh? With the red carpet being rolled out for illegal aliens how could this matter?
To: Destro
Yeah, it's all over the MSM now as well and up on Drudge. What gives? A pity to be sure.

Doesn't sound like it. His statement is that he had a "nanny problem."
To: the invisib1e hand
I don't think it will hurt W anymore than Chavez did... and that didn't hurt him at all.

a born leader who brought in new ideas
'A regular guy'
His backers say he was very accessible, he improved morale, and he restructured the intelligence divisionThis is the kind of guy we DO need.

I agree. The bottom line is Lieberman campaigned for Kerry, knowing what a disaster that man would have been for this country. He put his party before his country.

Per MSNBC .. while preparing documents for Sec of HS it was brought to his attention that someone that he employeed may not have been here legally and proper SS taxes may not have been paid
Sounds like a Nannygate

OK, well I withdraw my previous criticism of the administration backing him up.
But still, couldn't he have just paid the back taxes? Wasn't it worth trying to save this guy, for some tax issue? He's a millionaire, he could have paid. I mean, its one thing if he smuggled an alien into the country in his trunk.
We needed a guy like this in that job.
To: Guillermo
It appears there were things that weren't "well known." There are things that are well known that were ignored, obviously by Giuliani and others from the vicinity of 1 Police Plaza.
Kerik never saw an expense account he couldn't abuse, and I am using the term loosely.

Probably didn't pay Social Security to his illegal alien nany. That's enough to give Dusty Harry a cow.

Nannygate= Having your wife hire an illegal alien to babysit and cut the grass / used with great effect against Clinton nominees a few years ago.
But we are in a new age...
To: ThanhPhero
Because only liberals bork people. Republicans just get stabbed in the back by the people who they elect to represent them.

He hired a nanny who might have been an illegal immigrant. Tax problems. This could bring the immigration issues upfront. Maybe a little good news in this bad news.
