Liberman appears to be one of the few Dems who genuinly care about the future of the country.

Please. Liberman is in some ways worse than most "D's" - In that he openly admits half the time what is wrong with the Democrat party....yet he continually supports their leadership -

Simply go back to 2000 and see quote after quote of his where he completely flip-flopped on long held positions!! - The man is a bum.

Just a misspent youth; dropout, gangs, etc. But he turned it around. I don't know anything else. But I guess there was something about his dealings with Saudi according to Pat Buchanan.

I really appreciate the ping, I don't have cable news on right now.

Oh, dear. I wish him well and respect his decision. The viciousness that was on display against him was appalling.

Pinging Ella.

Dems - What a great party. Partisanship first; America second.

now we will get some paper pusher bureaucrat in there, to shuffle the deck chairs.

Give me a break! - America has many more than just ONE person who could fill this job and do a damn good job at it! (in fact it is a job that itself is just more bureaucracy to begin with!!) -

I'm willing to forgive Lieberman's flip-flops on issues such as affirmative action after he was one of the few democrats who staunchly supported Bush in Iraq and never compromised that position even while running for the dem nomination.

Actually new details of a nanny he had might have been an illegal. This will bring the border issues to the forefront.
