Another example that comes to mind is Isreal/Palestine...as if the Arabs needed a "homeland" in a place that is surrounded by Arab countries!

Some years ago I met a very devout Hindu gentleman (and I use the word correctly), a Chartered Accountant from India, living in Maryland. He despised the Moslems and said they were all liars. At the time I thought he was a bit extreme. Now I've decided he was probably right.

Thank you for your informative post, V. Unfortunately, though we understand quite well the motives of CAIR, political correctness prevents anyone from closing it down. President Bush has entertained members of CAIR and choses to turn the other cheek. He wants to portray them as the "religion of peace". Thanks for the post. What you say comes as little surprise to me, since I practiced a form of Kashmir Shaivism for many years, and always wanted to travel to Kashmir on pilgrimage but it seemed increasingly dangerous due to the Muslim violence (I eventually shifted over to Buddhism, but still retain my Kashmir Shaivism roots and Guru!)

I was deeply impressed years ago and often bring to mind Will Durant’s chapters on the Muslim conquest of India from Part I, Our Oriental Heritage of his multi-volume Story of Civilization. As bookends to a cataloging of the endless atrocities the invading Muslims perpetrated on the Hindus, he offers these two paragraphs:

“The Mohammedan Conquest of India is probably the bloodiest story in history. It is a discouraging tale, for its evident moral is that civilization is a precarious thing, whose delicate complex of order and liberty, culture and peace may at any time be overthrown by barbarians invading from without or multiplying within. The Hindus had allowed their strength to be wasted in internal division and war; they had adopted religions like Buddhism and Jainism, which unnerved them for the tasks of life; they had failed to organize their forces for the protection of their frontiers and their capitals, their wealth and their freedom, from the hordes of Scythians, Huns, Afghans, and Turks hovering about India’s boundaries and waiting for national weakness to let them in. For four hundred years (600 1000 A.D.) India invited conquest; and at last it came.”

and, after all the gory details about the introduction of the “Religion of Peace” onto the Indian subcontinent:

“This is the secret of the political history of modern India. Weakened by division, it succumbed to invaders; impoverished by invaders, it lost all power of resistance, and took refuge in supernatural consolations; it argued that both mastery and slavery were superficial delusions, and concluded that freedom of the body or the nation was hardly worth defending in so brief a life. The bitter lesson that may be drawn from this tragedy is that eternal vigilance is the price of civilization. A nation must love peace, but keep its powder dry.”

Taqiyyah is practiced extensively my Islamists at all levels. Simply they will lie to a non-Muslim.

Perhaps a way to neutralize CAIR in America is to incessantly parade them in front of a grand jury.

Perjury laws could are irrespective of Taqiyyah.

Islam everywhere is a quasi-religous front for an aggressive and violent political movement, taking supreme instructions from the book-Koran.

That explains why they are unified behind a common pursuit, without a centralized comand structure. The Koran does that.

Thanks for your perspective from India. Please come back and post some more. India suffered under Muslim invasions and still has problems with Pakistan and the assassins it send sends to Kashmir. Muslims in India are taking over your provinces one by one with their sky high birth rates. And these provinces want to break away from India
