Tommy Douglas...
The guy who gave the country a highly bureaucratized health-care system.
Suits them.

If Americans were more like Canadians then we would have voted Hillary as the greatest American ever for giving us her health care system. Of course, we were smart enough to vote her radical socialism down.
At least Canada still has NHL Hockey. Well, at least they might get it back next year.

Doesn't suit all of us. I voted for Banting. That being said, the whole thing IS a farce. Move on.

I thought it was such poetic justice for this Tommy Douglas guy to be named as the "Greatest Canadian"....he created the Socialized Medicine that engulfs all Canadians up here -- what a poetic epithat for someone like him....the Canadians get what they deserve -- they keep on electing these dolt Liberals and NDP party members to Parliament and then they whine and moan about the policies these same Liberals and NDP party members enact once in office. It is truly a comedy of errors with these doltish Canadian voters up here. And then these same Canadians have the NERVE to criticize those in the US for electing a DECENT, upstanding President like George W? Go figure -- it is like "Alice In Wonderland" up here in Canada for sure.
