I try not to revel in the misery of others. That notwithstanding, I could scarcely contain my glee on election night. Whine Williams was more deflated and crestfallen than UBL in his last-ditch ad for Kerry. It was then that I was certain, the election was in the bag.
Williams is a tremendous barometer. The more hysterical Whine becomes, the closer to victory are we. He has so little self-control. Watch him with discrete (albeit smug) satisfaction.

I've always been inclined to cut Juan a break as he was the one honest lib who during the Clarence Thomas smear 15 years ago called it for what it was. Futhermore, he did so on the opinion page of the Washington Post. People were calling him trying to get dirt on Thomas and he was repulsed at what to him seemed an orchestrated smear campaign.
