Do you agree with the Kennedy family? Is JFK Reloaded in poor taste or does it encourage a greater interest in historic events? Have PC-based games gone too far? Tell us what you think.
The family of John F Kennedy has criticised a Scottish company for producing a PC-based game that recreates the late president's death. Traffic Games says JFK Reloaded encourages youngsters to take an interest in history.

If it encouraged the assassination of a CERTAIN U.S PRESIDENT, then it'd be okay, didn't you get that fax?
< /sarcasm>
How would we feel if, forty years from now, someone who wasn't even alive in 2001, created a video game that allowed you to be the terrorist flying a plane into the World Trade Center? We'd be pretty freaking outraged. Or at least I would.
Yes, for once.
WTF?
It glorifies murder.
Just another way to numb the masses to the very real horror of murder. How sad.
I think it is in total poor taste and should be banned. Anything pointing to an assassination of a President in a video should be off limits IMHO.
When they put out a came in which you have to navigate Teddy Kennedy driving a car over a bridge..... THAT I'll buy!
I'm a Republican who grew up in Massachusetts. I was a kid in the 60's and there was no greater thrill than getting a Revelle model of the PT-109. Whatever arguements I have with the Kennedy family and they are legion, this game pisses me off.
Disgusting. It should not be illegal, but it is disgusting, nonetheless.
came = game
totally disgusting that is what it is.
I think it is about assassination.
Good point.
Maybe, just maybe, a "scholarly" study guide of the assassination could include some kind of "virtual Dealey Plaza," to give someone a better, three-dimensional view of the scene. (Then again, is someone is so VERY interested, they could hop on a plane and see it first hand, I suppose.) But it would have to be done very carefully, and marketed in a totally different manner than this trash. They wanted to "cash in" on the death and sell a sensationalized, crass product. It's sickening.
The man was a President of the US and gave his life on the job. He deserves respect. Let him rest in peace.
With or without the fifth of scotch?
It should not be illegal
Bingo.
No buyers = No games!
In a word 'SICK'
