Plea from help from Ukraine
Email | 11/23/2004 | Stefan Tanisijczuk

Posted on 11/23/2004 7:08:41 AM PST by Leo Carpathian

Here is an email I received from one of my relatives in Ukraine. Please read.

"After the numerous infringements and violations committed by the Ukrainian state authority during yesterday's presidential election, the revolution in Ukraine is ready to begin. Please help us, the Ukrainians, to guarantee the democracy in our country and the liberated election. Don't sell us to the bandits! President Bush helped Iraq to get rid of the dictatorship. Lend us a hand to prevent it! Stop the new USSR! 50 millions need your help now!

The publicizing of this information and cry for help may save the lives of many innocent patriotic citizens. We believe that the United States of America is the most democratic and authoritative country. We also believe it is ready to help Ukraine keep its independence and stop the autocracy. Please help us save our fatherland! "

Stefan Tanasijczuk

and here is the info about activities in USA:

Dorohi (Dear)! We have SOLID, approved information to pass along.

Tuesday, Nov. 23th, 10am, NYC What: Protest/demonstration at 2 consulates Where: Ukrainian Consulate (240 East 49th Street between 2nd & 3rd Avenues) at 10am followed by a "Putin & Russia Keep Your Hands Off Ukraine Rally" in front of the Russian Mission (136 East 67th Street and/or the Russian Consulate at 9 East 91st Street). Be as orange as you can be, stay as long as you can.

Wednesday, Nov. 24th, 1:30pm – Washington, DC What: protest rally Where: Embassy of Ukraine (3350 M st, N.W. Washington, D.C. 20007 (in Georgetown) then moving to Capitol Hill Car pool, talk to people, charter buses - get there. The permits are obtained; people are already organizing down there.

Several people are leaving either after the protest in nyc in the evening, or early am. for DC, .. like 630 on wednesday morning, leaving any later will be pointless as traffic will be murder. Most of us will then most likely return either on wed night or Thursday morning. If you can give a ride, please volunteer. (contact me at znymka@hotmail.com). There may be buses chartered to go down… that is still in the planning phase.

Make posters, orange is the color, wear it, wave it, post it...

First, I never said Ukraine belonged to Russia, that is your nationalism that is over blown and damning anyone who doesn't share your view. It's also the opposition that is against negotiations and calling for civil war, following almost the entire (minus the I'm now president and lets start a civil war parts) play book of the socialists in every nation the Soros crowd has had an election, to include here in America.

Ah. Lenin signed away half of Empire (rich fertile part at that) because he was in position of strength? Russian army wasn't in collapse and melting away? Germans took what they WANTED, left leavings for Lenin. Had he not signed Russian troops whould have hanged old Lenin themselves.

Check out Yanokovitch's rap sheet. This is the man Putin want to have in charge of Ukraine.

No, you're not getting the reading comprehension. I stated, WW1, Germans in Moscow? Try that as a question of logistics. Trench warfare and lack of mobility. It took the Germans 3 years to take Poland, barely. The Austrians were on the run as were the Turks. So I hardly doubt, the Germans who were stretched to the breaking point (why the Kaiser gave 50 million deutch mark to Lenin to get Russia out of the war) would have gone very far, especially when at their best they still couldn't take Moscow in WW2 with mechanized warfare.

Lenin signed as the unrecognized, un elected "government" of Russia. No more did he have authority then half the documents signed with the Plain Indians or the Cherakee and Creek. Secondly, the Germans did not have the resources to go anywhere. That is why a light resistence in Ukraine over threw their Yoke as they were desperately trying to stop the flow of US troops to the Western Front.

Do do some reading on WW1, will you?

What I'm trying to point out and what is obviously beyond you, is that Lenin was a Manchurian candidate, bought by the Kaiser. Soros equally buys candidates and then rapes the lands he's bought.

Read some history yourself. When the Eastern front broke the Germans were gaining ground daily. The Russian Army melted away. The only thing stopping them at that point was how far they could walk and how fast. All that saved Russia was the fact that the Germans wanted to tranfer troops West to try and defeat the Allies.

Your analogy regarding Lenin as a Manchurian candidate is inaccurate. It is true Germany sent Lenin to Russia. However, once there he was an independent actor and out of Germany's control. Are you suggesting that Lenin continued to do the Kaiser's bidding once he was in Russia?

Also, if Soros supports Yushchenko, and Bush supports Yushchenko, does that mean that Soros supports Bush? If so, does that mean we all should support Putin? BTW, these are rhetorical questions.

Gaining ground at the rate of several kilometers daily, well that's only about 800 kilometers to Moscow, sure, pack your bags now. Besides, the capital was in Saint Petersburge, but we'll ignore that fact too.

Lenin and the Kaiser used each other because they each had something to gain. Lenin was not a "Manchurian candidate".
Does the phrase "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" ring a bell? Just because the boogey man Soros is involved doesn't mean he can't be used to advance another goal.

If using Soros helps advance Ukrainian development, then I say use him. Maybe he'll get more then he bargained for, just like the Kaiser did.

So let me get this straight, the Germans in WW1 with horses at best were able to advance through Russia at a rate higher then the average rate of advance of the Wehremacht during the first 3 weeks of Barborosa. And not just advance faster but almost twice as fast? The average Wehremacht advance was 28 km or 17 miles per day with tanks rolling.

Damn, now how is it that the Germans were not able to take Paris in WW1? Or why is it, it took them 3 years to take Poland? I'll let you mull that for a while.

They were fighting a Soviet army that hadn't quit yet. The Russian army in 1918 had quit. By the way the Wehrmacht was not all that mechanized in WW2. Most of the transport for the infantry was horses and wagons. The tanks had to wait for infantry support to come up. It's history, you should look it up.

No spoken like someone who understands we live in a less then perfect world. I'd love to screw Soros out of another chunk of his money. If doing so benefits the Ukraine, gets it closer to a real democracy and helps it insulate itself from Russian pressure, great. A truly democratic and independent Ukraine would be a benefit to everyone in the region, and would end up an ally of the US, just like the Poles have.

so if someone you don't like gets elected then it isn't democracy in your view? People are too stupid to make up their minds others should do it for them right? *sarcasm*

What if this truly democratic election did occur but u were blinded by predispositions? I remember democrats saying "they did it again" when Bush won in 04. Europeans also protested and said that there were violations across poling stations all over high and low. But if Kerry won no violations would have occured and the election would have been bothered only by minor glitches... Its all perception and opinion thats why it's politics.

MY father was born in 1911, so yes my great grandfather was born a serf. Serfdom was gone in almost of all Western Europe by the 16th century. It only remained in Russia, Poland and Prussia into the 18th century.

There are people in USA whose great grandfathers were born as slaves (in America). I wonder what would you write if YOU were one of them? Would you clamor for reparations, claim special victim status? Whom would you vilify as the evil group?
