Savage Blasts Rush Limbaugh Again (Vanity)
11/16/04

Posted on 11/16/2004 9:25:41 AM PST by NYC Republican

I made the mistake of listening to Savage again last night, and he AGAIN blasted Rush Limbaugh, calling his show really boring, calling him a fat loudmouth, "Mr. Gulfstream", saying no one wanted to hear Limbaugh talk about the election anymore...

He said a few more things, but the exact verbiage escapes me.

He also said numerous times that he will not discuss politics anymore, then quickly goes into it. He also took yet another series of swipes at President Bush and Arnold S.

He claims that Arnold has a big ego, is a disgrace, and has done NOTHING for California. He also says that his approval rating is disastrous, not nearly as high as the polls.

This guy, Michael Weiner, er Savage, is the disgrace. He's a bi-polar nut-job, who has the biggest ego this side of O'Reilly.

What a jackass.

He's right about the groping RINO Arnold. It's disgraceful Sean Hannity continues to praise Schwartenkennedy.

Bipolar about sums up Savage. He can be lucid for a few days, and informative and funny. Then he'll snap and start his jealous rants and reveal a shallow grasp of issues, almost like a different man.

I can hear within seconds which Savage is on, so I switch him off when he's manic. I know from experience that attempting to make sense of manic rants is enfuriating and futile.

Note: many successful men are bipolar. Maybe most.

Did You hear him equate GWB going to the opening of the Clinton Library to Ronald Reagan visiting Bittberg?

He's so far right that he's insignificant - give him 6 mos - he'll get Art Bells old slot

I missed the comment in question - getting ready for bed

Rush attacked Perot throughout the 90's up until Perot endorsed Dubya in 2000. Rush even nicknamed him the "little general" and parodied him numerous times on his radio show.

Savage may sound manic, but he's spot on and speaks the truth. He has knowledge, and he knows what he's talking about. Some of his conspiracy theories can be shunned of course, but overall he is the best talk radio host around. Whenever he starts screaming I can't help but laugh, and take it with a grain of salt. He's harmless and it's funny as hell.

No one can do what Savage does.

I have found Save to be in serious need of a fact checker.

Hey Michael, STFU!

There's a reason he broadcasts on WOR (We're Old Radio).

I take Savage with a grain of salt. I think deep down he means well, wants the best for this country, and on the whole is fun to listen to. He might get down right nasty at times, yes, but consider this - he lives in San Francisco, the land of fruits and nuts, after growing up in New York. I'll cut him a whole lot of slack and allow him to go off the deep end at times.....

I have to say that Laura Ingraham is my favorite right now. Look at how she is handling the Specter issue. No one else in the talk shows is doing anything in regards to Specter. She is definitely earning my repect.

Michael should only WISH he could be as competent as Rush. In his dreams maybe. I listened to him (Michael) once. He rants, he raves, he's wild, his over the top. That's why he will never be as good as Rush.

When it comes to analyzing politics Limbaugh is better. Savage has a much more eclectic personality.

Limbaugh is so far out of touch with the average American he thinks that bragging about jetting around to play golf with his other nouveau-riche buddies passes for talk-radio.

Let us ask, if the Left was given a choice of ending the career of either Michael Savage or Rush Limbaugh, whom would they choose?

To ask the question is to answer it.

Personally, I find Rush thought provoking and generally right on most issues. I do get bored when he talks about football or one of his other pet peeves. But most of the time I regret missing his show when I can't listen.

I stopped listening to Savage after he accused Ed Smart (AKA Elizabeth's father) of sexually abusing their kids. That went way over the line. He is a whacko.
