Please help me on this fundraiser

I have been accused of something that I didn't do And I am being sued for it! On December 2, 2000, I held a rally in New Haven in front of then Vice Presidential candidate Joe Lieberman's house, doing what little I could to show support for the newly elected President Bush, and to show my frustration at the Democrats in their attempts to overturn the genuinely won election by George W. Bush. At the end of the rally, Former Ct State Senator Tom Scott was speaking on the back of my truck, when all of a sudden the lead Democrat supporter of the counter rally held at the same location, started to approach my truck, then turned and took 3 or 4 running steps and jumped on the bed of my truck in a manner that I thought he was going to attack someone on the truck: either me or Tom. I stepped to his side and held out my arm to stop him as he ran into my arm and immediately stopped his forward motion. I kept my hand held out in front of him to prevent him from going forward on the truck bed and get closer to Tom who was speaking at the time. After 3 seconds or so, the man who jumped on my truck immediately turned and jumped down off the truck into the arms of the Police who quickly escorted him away from my truck. The whole incident lasted no more than 5 seconds it seems. Tom and I decided to not press charges for assault or trespass on my truck, and let him go. 9 months later, the man filed suit against me for assault. I am not joking. 9 months later. He claims I grabbed his throat. Look at the picture. This picture was taken December 2, 2000. That is the man who claims I was grabbing his throat. My hand is on his chest, not his throat. My hand was NEVER on his throat, nor was it ever near his throat!

Why I made this website Because of the lawsuit, I am forced to endure thousands of dollars of debt that I cannot afford. I have been employed only in temporary positions since 2001 when telecom collapsed, and am deep in debt. This man is trying to use the legal system to get tens of thousands of dollars from me that does not belong to him, and he is doing it by claiming I assaulted him, which I did not do at all.

CAN YOU PLEASE HELP?? I am forced to ask, but can you consider donating to help me pay my legal fees? Because of this false charge against me, I am now over $8000 in debt to my lawyer, and we cannot continue until I can pay my bill! Could you please send me $5 or $10 or $20 to help my legal fees? The Rev. Boise Kimber has, for the second time, quit his post with a Newhallville development corporation amid scandal. Kimber's ally John DeStefano set him up at the Hazel Street Development Corp. a few years back in order to steer him hundreds of thousands of federal dollars to build new houses. DeStefano gave Kimber a lot full of decrepit houses that, under the policy of DeStefano's Livable City Initiative, should have normally been cleared to make room for a park or community center or parking lot. Kimber had to quit that post two years ago, after a court found him guilty of stealing an elderly woman's funeral money. (DeStefano tried to avert the verdict by testifying on behalf of Kimber's character.) To help the mayor save face, Kimber resigned his post as Hazel Street's president. But the pair worked out a sly deal. Kimber became a consultant to the Hazel Street group -- while his brother-in-law nominally presided over the group. Kimber continued to collect tens of thousands of dollars a year (up to nearly $52,000 a year by this spring) for barely documented work. Now the FBI is looking into Kimber's work as part of its investigation of DeStefano administration corruption. Kimber was finally prevailed upon to resign late last week, as his prefab homes started going up on the lot. Some thoughts. I assume you are represented by counsel, Ensure they are not just running the clock.

#2. You need to begin your own proactive media campaign. You need to get media on your side. It can be done.

#3. You should consider a counter-suit, with the involvement of 3d parties. For example, was he there representing any organization, IN ANY WAY? Sue them. Did anyone pay him to be there? Sue them Is he on any charitable or private city boards and in the process of that, is there the possibility that he was acting with or for them? Sue them. What does his sign say? Sue anyone mentioned thereon. Who made the sign and sold it to him. They knew or should have known it could be used as a weapon. Sue them. Who did he have lunch with? Could he have mentioned his plans to them. Sue them. If his "church" or organization is not incorporated, it is them, be default, a partnership and each member or associate is responsible for his assault of you. Sue them.

Or in each case shown above, call and ask for the exact spelling of their name and their address, since you will need the address "to serve some legal papers."
