I am being sued for something that happened at the December 2000 Freep of Joe Lieberman.
JimRob has allowed me to hold an internet fundraiser to help defray the costs of my lawyers fees.
I am broke and thousands of dollars in debt, and depending on how much I can collect here, I amnot sure if I can continue or work to sign a mutual release if offered.
Right now, we have ended the discovery phase, and are awaiting the deposition of the man who accused me of assaulting him that day.
That charge is a lie.
The following story below is my short account of what happened that day.
And what kind might that be? For me, AutoCAD saved my sanity; I can't even imagine myself going back to board drafting, cleaning pens, etc. Ugh!!~!

Hey, every serious Bible student knows the KJV was edited since the 1611, some errors, some word changes, if it was inspired as a translation, there would have been no editing!
In fact, most of today's KJV is from 1769 or the Schofield 1911 or so!
many changes from 1611 to today!

Has your attorney countersued? looks like he was attempting to trespass on or otherwise vandalize your truck and yes has filed a nuisance suit. Is this a civil rights action? I understand in civil action suits, the loser has to pay the attorney fees for both sides.
I attended a couple of FReeps at the VP Mansion in DC in 2000, and after the Gore forces called out for help to counter our side, some of their thugs came over to our side of the street and tried to create havoc, getting right in our faces, muttering obscenities, and other behaviors we've come to expect of Democrat supporters.
If I can swing a few bucks in the coming days, I will send a donation, just don't know how much, if anything, I will have. God Bless you, this is a horrible situation.

Did the plaintiff also file charges with the police? Have depositions been taken? That much in legal bills should really amount to something significant. There is also the possibility of counter-suing.

philetus, how much of a cut does paypal take? It might be worth it to get more donations. Checks and money orders can be problematic for various reasons. If RaceBannon had a paypal account I'd have donated already.

Better check with a tax preparer on that, Race. Any monies recieved as a gift are not subject to tax, especially if it is received in small amounts. I wouldn't declare one damn dime of it as unearned income. No one here is going to fill out a 1099 on it, so how is the Infernal Revenue Service going to know?

Which reminds me I went into the local Lefty Coop to get sheeps milk Feta only place available in our area and I bought a supply and the lady behind me says "DID YOU BUYIT ALL?" no I replied so she went back and got a few then proceeded to tell me how other items are better priced and what a good place it is to shop.
I didn't want to start a riot by telling her I refuse to shop here because the place is eerie and crawling with lefties and witches so I just said "I have lived in the areea for 15yrs." Else I might have had to defend myself.
If it wasn't for the good brand Feta, all other stores carry Athenos yuk, I refuse to step foot in the place.
So I stock up, or if in the valley 150mi away I stock up at Costco.
