US MARINE EXECUTES SHOT MAN

A US marine has sparked world-wide revulsion after being seen shooting an injured and helpless Iraqi.

The sickening scene was broadcast by Channel 4 News after a fire-fight in the rebel stronghold of Fallujah.

The trigger-happy soldier had been asked to get nearer to the injured man.

But instead of trying to capture him, the marine is seen leaning over a wall and cold-bloodedly shooting him.

He then turns to his colleagues and says: "He's gone". Coalition chiefs were last night under pressure to investigate the incident

There's a curfew in places like Falloujah and any one stupid enough to be out of doors deserves what they get. I can't fault the Marine - the terrorist may have been faking injury to draw the soldier into a deadly ambush. This is one situation where its perfectly appropriate to shoot first and ask questions later. The British press, The Mirror included, ought to know "war is hell." It was either the Marine's life or the other guy's. We Americans treasure our lives enough to know when to pull the trigger.

I don't like the US Marines being slandered. That's why it matters. Even the original "hit piece" by this retarded journalist states the marine said "he's gone", indicating the enemy had LEFT. Shooting at NOTHING and shooting at a wounded terrorist in this case is the difference between exposing a LIE, and telling the TRUTH. That's what this is about.

There was not a curfew in Fallujah, there was a curfew everywhere else in Iraq, with the exception of Fallujah. All civilians that could was warned and given plenty of time to get out. There was and is war in Fallujah.

I saw this video on-line and you can't see what the now dead guy did. Also, it's possible that the guy was mortally wounded and soldier was doing him a favor. It would be nice if the so called reported found out some facts but why let facts get in the way of a good story.

The Marine clearly says "he's done", not "he's gone", no matter what was printed. Having said that, I have absolutely no problem whatsoever with a soldier dispatching an "wounded insurgent" (if in fact that is what happened here). As has been pointed out already, you don't leave it to chance in that scenario, you KILL the enemy.
