In this television frame grab provided by NBC, Democratic strategist James Carville cracks an egg on his forehead to demonstrate he's got egg on his face after his projection of the outcome of the U.S. presidential election was wrong on NBC's 'Meet the Press' during a taping at the NBC studios November 14, 2004 in Washington, DC. Carville projected 52 percent of vote for U.S. Sen. John Kerry (D-MA), 47 percent for President George W. Bush and 1 percent for Ralph Nader

James Carville, greasing up for the incredibly challenging cranio-rectal insertion. Well, now, yours is pretty good, too.

I hate to admit this but I think Carville deserves credit. Admitting you're wrong and illustrating it by breaking an egg on your head is pretty funny and gutsy, especially in front of huge TV audience." Only if you don't keep repeating the same mistake. Which Carville does. Note the trashcan on his head after the last election.

Carville's stock has gone up with me, first with his classy congratulations to W on election night (well before CNN and other networks had even begun to consider abandoning hope), and now the egg stunt. I know it's bizarre that humiliating oneself can incite respect, but Carville has done it. Even though he's on the other side, he's cool with me.

First of all, this man is a Media Wh*re! There! I feel much better now!
Secondly, I am greatly dismayed that his bald pate looks anything like Jean Luc Piccard's!
Come on. I know there's a Trekkie in the crowd. Make me laugh!

First a trashcan, now an egg. Can't say he doesn't have a sense of humor. It was a great moment. And Carville was humble and reasonable during the entire, fairly long, segment.
He's still the enemy but he knows he lost and that the Democrats are in serious trouble.
