President Bush and Prime Minister Blair met today in the Oval Office and had lunch together after a 30 minute Press conference where the two men spoke about their mutual commitment to win the war on terror and a peaceful settlement to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict

He's OK but not IMHO not a patch on GWB or Cheney
Actually I think Michael Howard is better looking than Tony Blair maybe it is their political stance that I find as attractive as the man.
Kay so he can't compete with GWB or Cheney but then he comes in a close third.
Who's Michael Howard?
Michael Howard is the leader of my Party The Conservative Party (Tory Party).
If you want to see a picture of him here is the URL

snugs, is Michael Howard related to my PM John Howard? In that photo they are very similar in looks - kinda spooky in a way.
Pippin, I agree with you about Tony Blair. IMHO he is easy on the eye and he seems like a nice bloke as well. But....W still takes the cake!
Hopefully, Tony's wife wasn't there. She has been lecturing in this country against us. She is about as far left as Hillary.
It's difficult for me to remember I was so young during the 18th century, ha. All kidding aside though, although I'm a native of the Washington, DC metropolitan area I would be hesitant to speculate. The information in my post came directly from the official White House Website, so I can only rely on the authenticity of the information contained there. I could only speculate that given that even though walls were still wet at the time that John Adams wrote his letter, he served as President early in the century, leaving much time for completion of many features.
Clearly interesting information, thanks for sharing.
I think that you are correct. This is only my opinion, but I think much of the criticism of the Royal family has to do with their failure to show emotion (just a guess but I think they feel it shows weakness). I have read that many feel like the Royal family gets too hung up on tradition and protocal. Well, as an American, and this is only my opinion, I kind of like tradition, but possibly holding on to tradition while also showing that you can progress in the current century would be helpful to the Royal family, and by all means, allow a little emotion to show through, it doesn't mean you're weak, it means you are human. People can relate to the human emotion.
