Actually I'd like to see "Old Sparky" brought out for a bit of nostalgia.

When Scott Peterson was in college there was a girl who went missing at his school. He supposedly left school in the middle of the semester. Does anybody remember this?

I remember hearing that story .. but I don't remember hearing if it was true or not

What about the two Military cadets that murdered their high school friend. THAT WAS a very creepy, interesting trial here in Texas.

The windshield one was pretty darn bizarre.

I remember Geragoes saying "they will arrest him before Easter." He was loving his face time on Greta's show, but he changed his tune when he got the job that he said he didn't want.

How many people really care anymore about this circus?

Some of us care quite a bit.

BTW, for the record, I'm glad that Laci's family can finally get some closure to her murder from this decision, but I'm still not convinced that he's the actual murderer. The evidence was just too circumstantial, and I still haven't seen any evidence that some deranged tweaker didn't pick her up to satisfy some sick sexual perversion, and then dump her body in the bay to throw the investigation off. My guess is that we'll never really know what happened to Laci that morning.

Yes; if he would tell them where the bodies were.

And if she did, I think they would listen to her; I wonder if she would; she seems to be a very moral person, so maybe she will.

"Yep, just an unlucky fisherman 90 miles from home on Christmas eve."

Bear in mind he told the police of where he was right from the start and they called him a liar and said he dumped her body in New Melones resevoir...then they changed their tune when the bodies washed up.

No matter what evidence the police were presented with they assumed he was guilty. Then they hushed up and illegally covered up exculpatory evidence >sixteen< times.

Fifteen years ago scores of people in this country were put in jail for vacuuos 'child molest' charges on trumped up evidence and now they're all getting out. The current fad is prosecuting men for killing their wives without any evidence. Glen Scharf in Sacramento was convicted of the first degree murder of his wife on the *sole* testimony of a friend of his ex-wife who said she once told the friend that if anything happened to her, then to blame Glen.

That's the whole case. Right there.

The man is in jail for the rest of his life on that.

>>> I <<< would not want to face this kind of "justice".

Even my common sense can't account for one thing in this case: what's with the cement anchor? If he made a few, for the purpose of sinking a body, why go home with one? Why not drop them all?

I suspect you're going to see some of the family there within a few days.

You've got to be black to fight the system. A white man can't get a fair trial.

Justin Falconer is on MSNBC, with no grin on is face. He hopes he gets some "phone calls" from them so he can pick their brains. He can't wait to hear what it was that "put them over the top". FAT CHANCE they'll call him, so he can blab all over TV what they said.

He's radioactive!

The one juror was found to have behaved contrary to court instructions.

Out for good cause.

The second juror would not allow the jury to vote and the jury wanted him removed as foreman and he then asked to be removed.

Out for good cause.

Refusal to deliberate in good faith or disobeying the court's orders = getting tossed.

There is no reversible error here no matter how you wish upon a star.

How many men do you know that would try to sell their home 1 and 1/2 weeks after his wife went missing and sold her car one month after? How many men do you know would tell their lover he "lost his wife and that this is his first Christmas alone"...before his wife went missing? How many men do you know who are innocent of a crime but dye their hair blonde, have $15,000 of cash on them, their brother's passport and are on the way to Mexico? I could keep going on and on...but the "circumstantial" evidence here is quite convicting!

I think Greta is sad that Scott has been convicted. Her "friend" Mark just lost his case in spite of her. She did her best to help him every night.

Crowd outside court house.
