IRAQ TROOPS FIND 'HOSTAGE SLAUGHTERHOUSES'

NEAR FALLUJAH, Iraq - Iraqi troops have found "hostage slaughterhouses" in Fallujah where foreign captives were held and killed, the commander of Iraqi forces in the city said Wednesday.

Troops found CDs and records of people taken captive in houses in the northern part of Fallujah, Maj. Gen. Abdul Qader Mohammed Jassem Mohan told reporters.

"We have found hostage slaughterhouses in Fallujah that were used by these people and the black clothing that they used to wear to identify themselves, hundreds of CDs and whole records with names of hostages," the general said at a military camp near Fallujah.

He was unsure if the hostage records included the names of any of the at least nine foreigners still in the hands of kidnappers — most notably, British aid worker Margaret Hassan, French journalists Christian Chesnot and Georges Malbrunot and an unidentified American worker for a Saudi company.

Are you dull? It would have been disastrous to start an assault then have a change in leadership and totally put the military in a bind. Also unlike Kerry, when President Bush said he wanted the Iraquis to decide their faith, he meant it. Allawi is a much better judge then you as to the appropriate timing of an assault in his own country.

That is EXACTLY what DUers are saying - and I quote "U.S. Troops create their own Slaughterhouse". They are the most disgusting anti-american people in the world.

Can't be! After all, DemocRATs SUPPORT the troops! That's what they were all saying before the election, right? Ah, now their true colors can be easily seen by all. They make me sick!

Let's see how quick that unbiased Al Jazeera places this front and center for Moslems to see how holy their brethren are.

This is headlined on CompuServe at the moment. An excellent sign. Evidently the liberal press has decided to support our troops in Fallujah instead of demonizing them.

If this had happened before the election, the press would have ignored it, and instead found some child lying dead in the street--possibly killed by the terrorists--and blamed it on U.S. troops.

That's basically why we pulled out of Fallujah last year--because the press spread lying reports about civilian casualties. I doubt whether they have learned their lesson. More likely they just don't see much point in resuming the propaganda onslaught against Bush so soon after the election.

Ya know what...You are absolutely right...

Their's is an abuse of the free speech these Marines and Soldiers are fighting for...
just as many generations of Americans before have done.

This is what these ingrates do with the precious freedoms won for them by their betters....

They insult our troops...and our nation..as their natural and spiritual parents before them have done..

Since we are at war....(gee a formal declaration would be nice) these kinds of anti American anti War websites should be shut down the owners and contributors tried as war criminals..

We would have wasted no time at all taking these types out and hanging them during WWII

IMO

Not dull. Just very angry about the whole situation. One thing though -- the assault would have gone forward no matter who won. I just hate political games causing the deaths of our people, and I know Qerry really is behind much of it... the Presidents hands were very much tied, he attacked as soon as he could. It was very important to keep him as C-in-C no matter how much he pisses me off sometimes.

After a thorough search for any and all evidence, every other house or building on the block needs to be levelled. Much like the concentration camps of Nazi Germany, the neighbors were complicit by letting these horrors go on unreported.

Here's my take: Just because we don't have "Formal Declarations" these days, and have Congressional Resolutions instead, doesn't make us any less at war. One problem with it in this case has always been, who do we declare war against? Al-queda? Who is that? You can't really declare a shadow war.

I'm waiting for Swimmer Ted to go to senate chambers and proclaim, "Insurgent slaughterhouses are now under new management - US management ..."

Great quote.

No, their website should be loudly and publicly proclaimed as the voice of the Democrat party. It should be viewed by everyone in the country.

I'm sure it is being monitored carefully by the Feds under the Patriot act. :-)

I would bet that open sources don't get the attention they sometimes deserve.

***Tell them why you didn't go after the killers and let them kill again, and again, and again.***

How is it you are privy to any fact that the President gave any orders contrary to going after the killers?

This was Allawi's affair, not ours. It's his country, he needs to hold the reins, not have the U.S. grab them away when we think it's convenient for us.
