LONDON (AFP) - US pop star Madonna made a rare foray into politics, calling for her home country to withdraw its troops from Iraq during an interview with British radio."I just don't want American troops to be in Iraq, period," she said on BBC Radio.
"My feelings are 'can we just all get out?'," said the 46-year-old star, who lives mainly in London with British film director husband Guy Ritchie, who said she believes the US-led war will not help in the fight against terrorism.

Oh Esther (Madonna's new name), please go back to making your irrelevant pop songs. What's next? Will we seek Carrot Top's opinion to bring peace to the Middle East?
Madonna likes to entertain the troops. Her favorite base is Fort Dix....

"Gee, how many times in her life has she told people to "Pull Out"? Actually, not many, probably. Most telling in all this, is the "Can't we all just get along?" statement. This is typical, liberal, appeasment blather. It is that idiotic, moronic, ludicrous belief that if everyone sits down, holds hands and talks about their feelings, that everything can get worked out. These people, the ones she wants to "get along with", these are people who slowly saw off the heads of living human beings while they scream in terror. Unless you want to capitulate unconditionally to these people, I SUGGEST YOU SHUT YOUR FREAKING TRAP! Dammit, people like her REALLY PISS ME OFF! I could literally see your blood rising to a boil as your post progressed...hehe

First Babs and now Madonna...as if being able to sing qualifies a person to make such comments. Last time I heard, you can't get the latest defense and security updates from Access Hollywood.

First off, "rare foray into politics" I'm not even going to go into that one! But to address, "everyone just seems to want to protect what is theirs." This coming from the same person who wanted to close off HER property to harmless locals who have been using those same walking trails for YEARS!! It is Babs S. all over again.."I'll live in my mansion & tell the peons how to live..."

I've almost got my wife talked into the Ball.
Not sure about CPAC yet.
If I don't go to the Ball, I will definitely be @ CPAC.
